Homemade Granola with Maple and Pecans

For the granola:
blanched sliced almonds
coarsely chopped pecans
sesame seeds or shredded coconut
Preheat oven to 160c degrees and line a baking tray with waking paper.
In a small pan put honey, maple butter and salt and cook over medium-high heat until melted and smooth.
Meanwhile, mix the dry ingredients in a large bowl.
Pour over the hot mixture and stir until everything is coated with the mixture.
Transfer the granola into the baking tray and bake for 18-20 minutes, or until golden. Stir occasionally while baking.
Cool completely at room temperature and keep in a sealed jar.
Keep the granola in a sealed jar for up to 3 weeks.
