Matzo Chocolate Bark

Ingredients

For the matzo chocolate bark:

  • 2 matzo
  • 75 grams dark chocolate
  • 75 grams white chocolate
  • 30-40 grams roasted pistachio coarsely chopped
  • 30-40 grams caramelized hazelnuts bits
  • Some sea salt optional

Instructions

  1. Place the matzo on top of a baking pan lined with baking paper.
  2. Melt the dark and white chocolate (separately) in the microwave or over double boiler).
  3. Pour the melted dark chocolate on one of the matzos and straighten in a uniform layer.
  4. Sprinkle with hazelnuts bits or pistachios and some ground salt.
  5. Pour the melted white chocolate onto the other matzo and straighten in a uniform layer.
  6. Sprinkle with pistachios and/or hazelnuts bits and a little salt.
  7. Freeze for about 10 minutes until the chocolate set on the matzo.
  8. Cut into asymmetric pieces and serve.
