What makes these brownies my favorite over the last months is that beautiful black and white combo once they are cut. These chocolate filled brownies are so easy to make; the addition of a white chocolate bar right in their center makes them so pretty and festive.<\/p>\n

You can easily make this recipe gluten free and dairy free (see notes). So, this is really just for everyone who loves chocolate!<\/p>\n

Chocolate Bar Filled Brownies<\/h2>\n

    \n
  • 20*20 cm baking pan<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n
    \n

    For the brownies:<\/h4>\n
      \n
    • 200 grams dark chocolate<\/li>\n
    • 100 grams butter<\/li>\n
    • 140 grams 2\/3 cup sugar<\/li>\n
    • Pinch of salt<\/li>\n
    • 3 large eggs<\/li>\n
    • 70 grams 1\/2 cup all-purpose flour<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      For the filling:<\/h4>\n
        \n
      • 200 grams 2 bars white chocolate<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n
        \n
          \n
        1. Preheat oven to 170 Celsius degrees and grease the pan.<\/li>\n
        2. In a bowl, place dark chocolate and butter and melt together in the microwave or over double boiler. Mix well until a uniform, shiny mixture is obtained.<\/li>\n
        3. Add sugar and salt and mix to a smooth mixture.<\/li>\n
        4. Break in the eggs and add them one at a time, mixing between each addition, until they are incorporated into the batter.<\/li>\n
        5. Add in the flour and mix well until smooth.<\/li>\n
        6. Pour half of the batter into the pan and flatten with a spatula to an even thin layer.<\/li>\n
        7. Arrange the two chocolate bars in the center and pour the rest of the batter over them. Straighten the top.<\/li>\n
        8. Bake the brownies for 18-25 minutes or until they set at the edges but is still slightly soft in the center.<\/li>\n
        9. Cool completely to room temperature and refrigerate for another half hour before cutting.<\/li>\n
        10. Cut into squares of the desired size and serve.<\/li>\n<\/ol><\/div>\n

          • You can fill the brownie with any type of chocolate bar you like – milk, white, ruby \u200b\u200bor caramel.<\/li>\n
          • It is very important not to omit the salt because it balances the sweetness and emphasizes the chocolate flavor.<\/li>\n
          • The brownies are stored in an airtight container for up to a week in the refrigerator.<\/li>\n
          • You can freeze the brownies in an airtight container for up to a month.<\/li>\n
          • It is recommended to serve the brownies at room temperature for an ideal texture.<\/li>\n
          • It is important to cut the brownies when they are completely cold to get a clean cut.<\/li>\n
          • Gluten-free version: Use cornstarch, almond meal or gluten free oatmeal in the same amount instead of all-purpose flour.<\/li>\n
          • Dairy free version: Use 80 grams of coconut oil instead of butter. You can also use margarine or vegan butter in the same amount instead of butter. Make sure to use a dairy free chocolate bar for the filling.<\/li>\n
          • If you want, you can also add chopped nuts to the brownie mixture for added crunch.<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n
