Both of them create together a delicious blend of flavors, that is simply perfect for Fall. This cinnamon maple cake is a celebration of these two flavors, and has become one of the most addictive pound cakes I made recently.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Just in time for Rosh Hashana and the beginning of the new Jewish year, this cinnamon maple cake is such a great idea for a delicious dessert with a cup of coffee or tea. It\u2019s easy to make and requires only one bowl and a whisk. Click here &gt;&gt;<\/a><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_25514\" style=\"width: 810px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-25514\" class=\"wp-image-25514\" title=\"Cinnamon Maple cake\" src=\"https:\/\/www.oogio.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/cinnamon_maple_cake3-s.jpg\" alt=\"Cinnamon Maple cake\" width=\"800\" height=\"1200\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-25514\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: Natalie Levin<\/p><\/div>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block;\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-6091382327871787\" data-ad-slot=\"7832461759\" data-ad-format=\"auto\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><\/p>\n<p><!--WPRM Recipe 25555--><\/p>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe\">\n<h2 class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-name\">Cinnamon Maple cake<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-summary\">\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-equipment\">\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-ingredients\">\n<h4>For the cake:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>3 large eggs<\/li>\n<li>150 grams of sugar<\/li>\n<li>200 ml. sour cream (see notes for dairy free version)<\/li>\n<li>125 ml. vegetable oil<\/li>\n<li>Pinch of salt<\/li>\n<li>1 teaspoon cinnamon<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd teaspoon vanilla extract<\/li>\n<li>210 grams all-purpose flour<\/li>\n<li>10 grams of baking powder<\/li>\n<li>75 grams of walnuts or broken almonds<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>For the glaze:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>120 grams maple syrup<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-instructions\">\n<ol>\n<li>Preheat oven to 170 Celsius degrees and grease the pan.<\/li>\n<li>In a large bowl, whisk eggs, sugar, sour cream, oil, salt, cinnamon and vanilla until a uniform mixture is obtained.<\/li>\n<li>Add flour and baking powder and whisk only until smooth.<\/li>\n<li>Pour the batter into the cake pans and straighten the top.<\/li>\n<li>Sprinkle nuts at the top of the cakes.<\/li>\n<li>Bake for 35-45 minutes or until the cakes are swollen, golden, firm and a skewer inserted in the center comes out with moist crumbs.<\/li>\n<li>Pour on the maple over the cakes as they are still warm and allow to cool completely at room temperature.<\/li>\n<\/ol><\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-notes\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\">The cake is kept in a closed container in the fridge for up to a week.
