And just because of this fact, I rarely try not to bake it too much at home. I simply can\u2019t control myself around fresh bread rolls coming out if my oven \u2013 it\u2019s a true disaster for my shape \ud83d\ude09 Just when I thought I toned down my cravings \u2013 I made these chocolate rolls. Oh, what a mistake!<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">These chocolate rolls are made of a simple bread roll dough filled with chocolatey. It\u2019s as simple as that, and simply irresistible. I filled the rolls with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lilcookie.com\/?s=nutella\">Nutella<\/a>, which was a huge success around the house, but you can definitely fill them with any other chocolate spread you like. The perfect weekend brunch treat!<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lilcookie.com\/category\/savory\/bread\/\">Click here for more bread and rolls recipes &gt;&gt;<\/a><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_24227\" style=\"width: 810px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-24227\" class=\"wp-image-24227\" title=\"Soft Chocolate Rolls\" src=\"https:\/\/www.oogio.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/\/2019\/03\/chocolate-rolls-s.jpg\" alt=\"Soft Chocolate Rolls\" width=\"800\" height=\"1200\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-24227\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: Natalie Levin<\/p><\/div>\n<div id=\"attachment_24223\" style=\"width: 810px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-24223\" class=\"wp-image-24223\" title=\"Soft Chocolate Rolls\" src=\"https:\/\/www.oogio.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/\/2019\/03\/chocolate-roll2-s.jpg\" alt=\"Soft Chocolate Rolls\" width=\"800\" height=\"533\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-24223\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: Natalie Levin<\/p><\/div>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block;\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-6091382327871787\" data-ad-slot=\"7832461759\" data-ad-format=\"auto\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><\/p>\n<p><!--WPRM Recipe 25411--><\/p>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe\">\n<h2 class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-name\">Soft Chocolate Rolls<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-summary\">\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-equipment\">\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-ingredients\">\n<h4>For the dough:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>500 grams all-purpose flour<\/li>\n<li>10 grams active dry yeast<\/li>\n<li>100 grams of soft butter<\/li>\n<li>100 grams sugar<\/li>\n<li>2 large eggs<\/li>\n<li>200 ml. sour cream<\/li>\n<li>Pinch of salt<\/li>\n<li>1 teaspoon vanilla extract<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>For the filling:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>400 grams of chocolate spread (Nutella or any other kind you like)<\/li>\n<li>Beaten egg for brushing the rolls<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-instructions\">\n<h4>Make the dough:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>In a mixing bowl with kneading attachment, place flour, yeast, butter, sugar, salt, vanilla, eggs and sour cream and knead at medium-low speed for 10-12 minutes until uniform dough is obtained.<\/li>\n<li>Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface, form a ball shape and place in a lightly greased bowl.<\/li>\n<li>Cover the bowl and allow rising for about an hour or two in a warm place until the dough doubles in volume.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4>Prepare the rolls:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Divide the dough into 2 parts.<\/li>\n<li>Roll each part of dough into a 1\/2 cm thick rectangle and apply half of the chocolate spread in a thin layer.<\/li>\n<li>Fold the dough to form a thicker rectangle filled with chocolate spread.<\/li>\n<li>Gently roll the chocolate filled rectangle a little further on a floured surface to a thickness of \u00bd cm.<\/li>\n<li>Cut the rectangle into 2-3 cm thick strips.<\/li>\n<li>Roll each strip into a screw shape and wrap around itself to form a roll.<\/li>\n<li>Place the chocolate rolls at intervals on a baking tray lined with baking paper.<\/li>\n<li>Repeat with the other part of the dough and the remaining of the chocolate filling.<\/li>\n<li>Cover the rolls and allow rising for about an hour in a warm place until they almost double their volume.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4>Baking:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Preheat oven to 170 Celsius degrees.<\/li>\n<li>Brush the rolls gently with some beaten egg.<\/li>\n<li>Bake the rolls for 15-20 minutes or until they are golden and stable.<\/li>\n<li>Remove from oven and cover with a towel. Cool the buns covered and serve.<\/li>\n<\/ol><\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-notes\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\">You can use any chocolate spread you like.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\">You can also add chopped nuts or coconut to the filling.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\">You can freeze the rolls in an airtight container for up to a month.
