This is one of the gifts I like to make for friends and family\u2019s gatherings, and is always welcome. There is something very comforting about homemade cookies in a jar, full of attention and love.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">These following cookies are just perfect for these kinds of gifts. These are hazelnut cookies with coffee and chocolate chips that I made especially for my spouse. I wanted to make cookies, but I could not really decide what I wanted. So, I asked him and he threw three flavors he wanted at that moment &#8211; hazelnuts, coffee and chocolate. Even though the combination of these ingredients is a bit common and not so original, these cookies are just amazing and addictive.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">They are buttery, crispy, rich and melt in the mouth. Inlaid with crispy hazelnuts, milk chocolate that melts between bite and bite and with the delicious aroma and taste of coffee. This is just the type of cookies that you can start with \u201cjust one\u201d, and then without notice the whole jar is disappeared.<\/p>\n<h4 dir=\"ltr\"><a class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe\">\n<h2 class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-name\">Hazelnut Cookies with Coffee and Chocolate<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-summary\">\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-equipment\">\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-ingredients\">\n<h4>For the cookies:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>210 grams all-purpose flour<\/li>\n<li>40 grams cornstarch<\/li>\n<li>200 grams of cold butter (cut into cubes)<\/li>\n<li>100 grams powdered sugar<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 teaspoon salt<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd teaspoon vanilla extract<\/li>\n<li>2 \u00bd teaspoons instant coffee powder<\/li>\n<li>150 grams of natural hazelnuts (peeled)<\/li>\n<li>100 grams of milk chocolate<\/li>\n<li>1 large egg<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-instructions\">\n<ol>\n<li>In a food processor with a steel blade, put flour, cornstarch, butter, powdered sugar, salt, vanilla and coffee and process into a crumbly mixture.<\/li>\n<li>Add nuts, chocolate and egg, and process until large chunks of dough are obtained.<\/li>\n<li>Transfer the dough to a lightly floured work surface and unify the dough evenly.<\/li>\n<li>Divide the dough into 2 equal parts and roll a tight cylinder shape from each part.<\/li>\n<li>Freeze the cookie rolls for about 1 hour in the freezer for stabilization.<\/li>\n<li>Preheat the oven to 180 Celsius degrees, and arrange baking paper on your baking trays.<\/li>\n<li>Cut the dough rolls about 1 cm thick and place the cookies on the baking trays.<\/li>\n<li>Bake the cookies for 10-15 minutes or until golden.<\/li>\n<li>Cool completely and serve.<\/li>\n<\/ol><\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-notes\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\">Keep the cookies in a jar for up to a week.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\">You can freeze the cookie rolls well wrapped for up to two months.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\">You can freeze the baked cookies prepared in a sealed box for up to one month.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\">You can use dark chocolate instead of milk chocolate.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\">Instead of hazelnuts you can use any other type of nuts that you like in the same amount.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\">If you do not like
