It does not happen very often, but every once in a while, we have leftover dry challah sitting on the kitchen counter. It always makes me think of a unique way to use it except grinding it to fine breadcrumbs or making French toast for dinner.

So, whenever I feel like making something a bit more creative, I bake a bread pudding. Bread pudding is the perfect way to use leftover challah or any other dry bread. What I like most about it is the fact that is can be diverse flavors-wise every single time.

This chocolate bread pudding is so decadent, delicious and easy to make, and also combines berries that add some tanginess, and go very well with the dark chocolate. It takes only a few minutes to prepare, and spread the most delicious aroma all over the kitchen while baking. If you like bread pudding – you’re going to love this version.
