A childhood friend of mine brought them from the States, and it was love at first bite. I loved the idea of two chocolate cookies filled with vanilla cream \u2013 it\u2019s just a great combination of flavors.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ever since then, and when I found\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.marthastewart.com\/316749\/chocolate-n-cream-sandwich-cookies\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Martha Stewart\u2019s recipe<\/a> for the most popular cookies in the world, I started making homemade Oreo cookies for every occasion. They\u2019re everyone\u2019s favorites \u2013 chocolatey, vanilla-y and simply delicious.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">This recipe is very easy to make \u2013 the dough is made quickly in the food processor; the filling is a breeze and the result is so good. Cut out small cookies.<\/li>\n<li>Place the cookies on a baking pan lined with baking paper.<\/li>\n<li>Preheat oven to 175c degrees.<\/li>\n<li>Bake the Oreo cookies for 7-9 minutes, until set and slightly soft in the center.<\/li>\n<li>Cool completely before filling.<\/li>\n<li>Vanilla cream: in a bowl of a mixer with the paddle-attachment whip butter, sugar powder and vanilla until smooth and creamy.<\/li>\n<li>Fill each pair of cookies and close into a sandwich.<\/li>\n<\/ol><\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-notes\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\">You can fill the cookies with any other filling you like.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\">Keep the cookies in a sealed jar for 5-6 days.<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-meta\">\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><!--End WPRM Recipe--><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_23124\" style=\"width: 810px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-23124\" class=\"wp-image-23124\" title=\"Homemade Oreo Cookies\" src=\"https:\/\/www.oogio.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/\/2011\/02\/homemade_oreo_cookies-s.jpg\" alt=\"Homemade Oreo Cookies\" width=\"800\" height=\"1200\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-23124\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: Natalie Levin<\/p><\/div>\n<\/span>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I love Oreo cookies ever since I got to know them, when I was about 15 years old.
