When Or offered to host me on his YouTube channel, and to make donuts together for upcoming Hanukkah, of course I agreed. We’ve known each other for a long time and even got to work together on a project a few years ago, but never baked anything together up until now.<\/p>\n

Hanukkah was an excellent excuse, and so we met for a baking session and made donuts with a variety of coatings and additions. We made the dough, proofed, fried and decorated them, and Or made a cute video (Hebrew) of the whole process.<\/p>\n

These homemade donuts are easy to make, soft, airy and really delicious. You can actually coat them with everything you love. Here are some ideas for coatings, additions and combinations of flavors that we especially liked:<\/p>\n
