It\u2019s the most fragrant, comforting cake to have with a cup of coffee or hot tea, and I don\u2019t know anyone who doesn\u2019t\u2019 like orange cake.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">This juicy orange cake has the most amazing rich, melt-in-your-mouth texture that is simply to die for. It\u2019s so easy to make and you don\u2019t even have to separate the eggs. (3\/4 cup) vegetable oil<\/li>\n<li>180 ml. (3\/4 cup) orange juice<\/li>\n<li>zest of an orange<\/li>\n<li>10 grams (2 tsp.) baking powder<\/li>\n<li>280 grams (2 cups) all-purpose flour<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>For the glaze:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>1\/2 cup orange juice<\/li>\n<li>some powdered sugar for serving<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-instructions\">\n<ol>\n<li>Preheat oven to 150c degrees.<\/li>\n<li>Beat eggs and sugar in an electric mixer bowl at high speed until it becomes light and fluffy.<\/li>\n<li>Reduce the mixer speed and add the orange juice and oil in a thin stream while mixing. It is important to add the liquids slowly so as not to bring down the foam.<\/li>\n<li>Add orange zest, flour and baking powder and fold in using a spatula until incorporated.<\/li>\n<li>Divide the mixture between 2 loaf pan and bake for about 35-40 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with moist crumbs.<\/li>\n<li>Cool completely at room temperature.<\/li>\n<li>Pour orange juice over the cakes.<\/li>\n<li>Sprinkle some powdered sugar just before serving.<\/li>\n<\/ol><\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-notes\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\">Keep the cake in a closed container in the refrigerator for up to 4-5 days.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\">The cake is best served at room temperature.<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-meta\">\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><!--End WPRM Recipe--><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_12494\" style=\"width: 810px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-12494\" class=\"wp-image-12494\" title=\"Juicy Orange Cake\" src=\"http:\/\/oogio.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/02\/orange_cake-s.jpg\" alt=\"Juicy Orange Cake\" width=\"800\" height=\"534\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-12494\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: Natalie Levin<\/p><\/div>\n<\/span>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Orange cake is definitely one of my favorite cakes in the winter.
