(3\/4 cup) milk<\/li>\n<li>150 grams (3\/4 cup) sugar<\/li>\n<li>Pinch of salt<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 tsp. vanilla extract<\/li>\n<li>50 grams (5 tbsp.) cocoa powder<\/li>\n<li>100 grams (3\/4 cup) flour<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp. baking powder<\/li>\n<li>50 grams chopped dark chocolate or chocolate chips<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>For the whipped cream:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>250 ml. (1 cup) very cold whipping cream<\/li>\n<li>2 tbsp. powdered sugar<\/li>\n<li>2 tbsp. instant vanilla pudding powder<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp. vanilla extract<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>For decoration:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>chocolate candy or chocolate chips<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-instructions\">\n<h4>Cupcakes:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Preheat oven to 170c degrees.<\/li>\n<li>Arrange paper cups in a cupcake baking pan.<\/li>\n<li>In a large bowl, mix oil, egg, egg yolk, milk, sugar, salt and vanilla into a uniform mixture.<\/li>\n<li>Add cocoa, flour and baking powder and mix until the batter is uniform.<\/li>\n<li>Transfer the batter to into the pan and fill up to 2\/3 of the height of each socket.<\/li>\n<li>Sprinkle some dark chocolate chips over each cupcake.<\/li>\n<li>Bake the chocolate cupcakes for about 14-20 minutes, or until swollen, set and a skewer inserted in the center comes out with moist crumbs.<\/li>\n<li>Cool completely before decoration.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4>Vanilla whipped cream:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>In a large mixer bowl with whipping attachment whip cream, powdered sugar, instant pudding and vanilla extract until you get a very firm whipped cream.<\/li>\n<li>Transfer the whipped cream into a piping bag fitted with a serrated piping tip and drizzle mounds of cream on top of the cupcakes.<\/li>\n<li>Garnish with chocolate and serve.<\/li>\n<\/ol><\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-notes\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\">Keep the cupcakes in the refrigerator for 4-5 days in a closed box.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\">You can decorate the cupcakes with anything you like.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\">Instead of chopped dark chocolate you can use milk or white chocolate in the same amount.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\">If you like, you can add chopped nuts to the cupcakes batter.<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-meta\">\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><!--End WPRM Recipe--><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_21773\" style=\"width: 810px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-21773\" class=\"wp-image-21773\" title=\"Chocolate Cupcakes with Whipped Cream Frosting\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lilcookie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/chocolate_and_cream_cupcakes-s.jpg\" alt=\"Chocolate Cupcakes with Whipped Cream Frosting\" width=\"800\" height=\"534\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-21773\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: Natalie Levin<\/p><\/div>\n<\/span>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Chocolate and whipped cream is one of the most classic flavors combinations.
