This is exactly how these following pecan pie bars were thought of \u2013 I wanted to combine between cheesecake and pecan pie.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">This is certainly one of the most delicious desserts I made recently. The pecan pie filling combines perfectly with the creaminess of the cheesecake, and together they create delicious cheesecake pecan pie bars that are simply irresistible.<\/p>\n<h4 dir=\"ltr\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lilcookie.com\/category\/cookies-and-individual-desserts\/brownies-bars\/\">Click here for more bars recipes &gt;&gt;<\/a><\/h4>\n<p><script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block;\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-6091382327871787\" data-ad-slot=\"7832461759\" data-ad-format=\"auto\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><br \/>\n<!--WPRM Recipe 21304--><\/p>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe\">\n<h2 class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-name\">Cheesecake Pecan Pie Bars<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-summary\">\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-equipment\">\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-ingredients\">\n<h4>For the crust:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>150 grams (1 cup +1 tbsp.) all-purpose flour<\/li>\n<li>100 grams (1\/2 cup) cold butter, cut into cubes<\/li>\n<li>40 grams (4 tbsp.) sugar powder<\/li>\n<li>Pinch of salt<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd tsp. vanilla extract<\/li>\n<li>1 large egg<\/li>\n<li>1-2 tbsp. cold milk (only if necessary)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>For the pecan pie filling:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>2 large eggs<\/li>\n<li>120 grams (1\/2 cup) corn syrup<\/li>\n<li>100 grams dark brown sugar<\/li>\n<li>Pinch of salt<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd tsp. ground cinnamon<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp. vanilla extract<\/li>\n<li>25 grams (2 tbsp.) melted butter<\/li>\n<li>100 grams (1\/2 cup) pecans, chopped coarsely<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>For cheesecake filling:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>225 grams (1 pack) cream cheese, at room temperature<\/li>\n<li>100 ml. (1\/2 cup) yogurt 3% fat<\/li>\n<li>80 grams (1\/3 cup) sugar<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp. vanilla extract<\/li>\n<li>2 large eggs<\/li>\n<li>10 grams (1 tbsp.) cornstarch or all purpose flour<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>For decoration:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>50 grams melted white chocolate<\/li>\n<li>Edible gold dust (optional)<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-instructions\">\n<h4>Crust:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Preheat oven to 170c degrees and grease the pan.<\/li>\n<li>In a food processor with a steel blade, mix flour, butter, powdered sugar, salt and vanilla into a crumbly mixture.<\/li>\n<li>Add the egg and continue to process until large chunks of dough are formed. If the dough does not combine &#8211; add 1-2 tablespoons of milk.<\/li>\n<li>Transfer the dough to the bottom of the pan and press tightly with your hands until you get a uniform layer.<\/li>\n<li>Bake the crust for 10-15 minutes or until completely golden.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4>Pecan pie filling:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>In a medium bowl, mix eggs, corn syrup, brown sugar, salt, cinnamon, vanilla and melted butter into a uniform mixture.<\/li>\n<li>Add chopped pecans and stir until combined.<\/li>\n<li>Pour the mixture over the baked crust.<\/li>\n<li>Bake for 10-15 minutes or until the pecan layer turns golden and sets. Cool at room temperature.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4>Cheesecake filling:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>In a bowl, whisk cream cheese, yogurt, sugar and vanilla to a uniform mixture.<\/li>\n<li>Add the eggs and whisk until they are incorporated in the mixture.<\/li>\n<li>Add cornstarch and mix until combined.<\/li>\n<li>Pour the cheesecake mixture over the baked pecan pie layer and return to baking for 20-25 minutes or until the cheesecake layer sets at the edges but is still slightly soft in the center.<\/li>\n<li>Cool completely at room temperature and then transfer to the refrigerator for 3-4 hours for complete cooling.<\/li>\n<li>Cut into desired size rectangles and decorate with white chocolate and edible gold dust.<\/li>\n<\/ol><\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-notes\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\">Keep the bars in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\">Instead of pecans, you can use any other kind of nuts you like.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\">You can use sour cream in the same amount instead of yogurt.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\">It is important to cool completely before cutting into squares.<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-meta\">\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><!--End WPRM Recipe--><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_21300\" style=\"width: 810px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-21300\" class=\"wp-image-21300\" title=\"Cheesecake Pecan Pie Bars\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lilcookie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/shvuot_natali_03.1.jpg\" alt=\"Cheesecake Pecan Pie Bars\" width=\"800\" height=\"1082\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-21300\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: Efrat Lichtenstadt<\/p><\/div>\n<\/span>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>One of my favorite things about baking is thinking about flavors and texture combinations while making new desserts.
