It\u2019s like having a bag of mini pretzel bites in front of me \u2013 they\u2019ll simply disappear.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">These parmesan cookies are so addictive, I actually recommend you NOT to make them ha ha \ud83d\ude42 They are delicious, crispy and perfect as a snack on game day or whenever you\u2019re hosting a small party. It\u2019s a great treat to have with cold bear or ginger ale.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_20921\" style=\"width: 810px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-20921\" class=\"wp-image-20921\" title=\"Parmesan Cookies\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lilcookie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/parmesan_cookies-s.jpg\" alt=\"Parmesan Cookies\" width=\"800\" height=\"534\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-20921\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: Natalie Levin<\/p><\/div>\n<p><script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block;\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-6091382327871787\" data-ad-slot=\"7832461759\" data-ad-format=\"auto\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><\/p>\n<p><!--WPRM Recipe 20920--><\/p>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe\">\n<h2 class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-name\">Parmesan Cookies<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-summary\">\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-equipment\">\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-ingredients\">\n<h4>For the dough:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>200 grams (1 cup) soft butter<\/li>\n<li>200 grams grated Emmental cheese<\/li>\n<li>50 grams grated Parmesan cheese<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp. fine salt<\/li>\n<li>1 heaping tbsp. mustard seeds<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 tsp. spicy smoked paprika<\/li>\n<li>250 grams (1 3\/4 cups) all-purpose flour<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>For coating:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>1 large egg white<\/li>\n<li>White or black sesame seeds<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-instructions\">\n<ol>\n<li>In a bowl of a mixer with a paddle-attachment put butter, emmental, Parmesan, salt, paprika and mustard seeds and whip until mixture is smooth.<\/li>\n<li>Scrape the sides of the bowl with a spatula and add in the flour. Mix just until large chunks of dough form.<\/li>\n<li>Transfer the dough chunks on a lightly floured surface and unite together.<\/li>\n<li>Divide into 2-3 parts and form each part into a cylinder shape with a diameter of 3-4 cm.<\/li>\n<li>Cool the rolls in the freezer for 2 hours or until they completely frozen.<\/li>\n<li>Preheat oven to 165c degrees.<\/li>\n<li>Sprinkle some sesame seeds on a work surface.<\/li>\n<li>Remove the rolls from the freezer, brush it with some egg white and roll up the entire cylinder until evenly coated.<\/li>\n<li>Slice in 1-2 cm thick slices and place on an oven pan lined with baking paper.<\/li>\n<li>Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the cookies are golden and the cheese is melted and bubbling.<\/li>\n<li>Cool completely and serve.<\/li>\n<\/ol><\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-notes\">\n<ul style=\"text-align: left\">\n<li>You can add or omit spices according to personal taste.<\/li>\n<li>These parmesan cookies are at their best on the day or two after preparation.<\/li>\n<li>Keep the cookies in a sealed jar for up to 4-5 days.<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-meta\">\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><!--End WPRM Recipe--><\/p>\n<\/span>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>One of the things I think is truly \u201cdangerous\u201d for me is savory cookies.
