It is always full with at least one type of cookie, usually a kind of butter cookie, for the ultimate snack to side morning or afternoon coffee.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">These butter pecan cookies are packed with pecans and are extremely addictive. The pecans add rich flavor and crumbly melt-in-your-mouth texture, and these cookies are so easy to prepare and simply great.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_12392\" style=\"width: 810px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-12392\" class=\"wp-image-12392\" title=\"Butter Pecan Cookies\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lilcookie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/11\/pecan_butter_cookies2-s.jpg\" alt=\"Butter Pecan Cookies\" width=\"800\" height=\"534\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-12392\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: Natalie Levin<\/p><\/div>\n<p><script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block;\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-6091382327871787\" data-ad-slot=\"7832461759\" data-ad-format=\"auto\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><\/p>\n<p><!--WPRM Recipe 19135--><\/p>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe\">\n<h2 class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-name\">Butter Pecan Cookies<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-summary\">\n<p>Adapted from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/0307394549\/ref=as_li_qf_sp_asin_il_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=oogionet-20&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=9325&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;creativeASIN=0307394549&amp;linkId=150504832fbd103ae54ece48807949b9\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Cookies<\/a> by Martha Stewart with few adjustments.  <\/p>\n<\/p>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-equipment\">\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-ingredients\">\n<h4>Ingredients:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>175 grams (1 \u00bc cups) all-purpose flour<\/li>\n<li>70 grams (2\/3 cup) pecans<\/li>\n<li>100 grams (1 stick) cold butter, cut into cubes<\/li>\n<li>85 grams (2\/3 cup) sugar powder<\/li>\n<li>Pinch of salt<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp. vanilla extract<\/li>\n<li>1 large egg<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>For serving:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Sugar powder<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-instructions\">\n<ol>\n<li>In a food processor with a steel blade, place flour, pecans, butter, powdered sugar, salt and vanilla and mix until a uniform crumb mixture is obtained.<\/li>\n<li>Add the egg and continue to mix until dough forms.<\/li>\n<li>Cool the dough for 30 minutes in the refrigerator.<\/li>\n<li>Make small walnut-sized balls of the dough and place them in intervals on a baking pan lined with baking pan.<\/li>\n<li>Using a fork, gently press top of each cookie to create a nice pattern.<\/li>\n<li>Preheat the oven to 170c degrees.<\/li>\n<li>Bake the cookies for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown and set.<\/li>\n<li>Cool completely at room temperature, sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve.<\/li>\n<\/ol><\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-notes\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\">Instead of pecans, you can use any other kind of nuts you like.
