If there’s a candy bar that throws me back into childhood it’s definitely sesame brittle. As a young girl, I loved these dense treats with golden sesame seeds and a crackling caramel texture. There was also a version with nuts, which I did not like as much, but in general the idea of a dense caramel-y candy is something I like also as an adult.

Recently I decided to try to recreate these sesame brittle at home, and instead of just using sesame – I combined it with nuts and god sesame nut brittle. This is the kind of recipe that can be easily prepared at home, with only 4 ingredients.

I like to combine different kinds of nuts and sesame seeds (and the most delicious to my taste are peanuts, cashews and hazelnuts), and together with maple syrup these brittle bandies are simply a disaster to your diet.
