Whenever I have a few ripe bananas in my kitchen this is my go-to recipe. (2\/3 cup) vegetable oil<\/li>\n<li>3 large eggs (at room temperature)<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp. ground cinnamon<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp. vanilla extract<\/li>\n<li>pinch pf salt<\/li>\n<li>3 large ripe bananas (mashed)<\/li>\n<li>210 grams (1 1\/2 cups) all-purpose flour<\/li>\n<li>2 tsp. baking powder<\/li>\n<li>60 grams (2\/3 cup) almond meal<\/li>\n<li>150 grams (3\/4 cup) dark chocolate chips<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-instructions\">\n<ol>\n<li>Preheat oven to 170c degrees.<\/li>\n<li>In a large bowl put sugar, brown sugar, oil, eggs, cinnamon, vanilla, salt and mashed bananas and beat well until blended.<\/li>\n<li>Sift in the flour and baking powder, add the ground almonds and chocolate chips, and fold with a spatula into a smooth mixture.<\/li>\n<li>Transfer the batter into the pans and smooth on the top. Bake for about 35-40 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted in center of cake comes out with moist crumbs.<\/li>\n<li>Cool completely and serve at room temperature.<\/li>\n<\/ol><\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-notes\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\">Keep the cake in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to 5-6 days.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\">You can also freeze the cake for up to a month.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\">The banana bread is best served at room temperature.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\">If you do not like cinnamon \u2013 it can be omitted.<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-meta\">\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><!--End WPRM Recipe--><\/p>\n<\/span>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Banana bread is one of my top favorite pound cakes in the world.
