Simply by changing the nuts or other added ingredients to it \u2013 it gets a different flavor and the result is different each and every time.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">This recipe is so easy to make, and these biscotti cookies are simply the perfect companion to your coffee cup.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_16999\" style=\"width: 810px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-16999\" class=\"wp-image-16999\" title=\"Biscotti Cookies with Hazelnuts, Pecans and Pistachios\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lilcookie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/pecan_and_hazelnut_biscotti2-s.jpg\" alt=\"Biscotti Cookies with Hazelnuts, Pecans and Pistachios\" width=\"800\" height=\"1200\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-16999\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: Natalie Levin<\/p><\/div>\n<p><script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block;\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-6091382327871787\" data-ad-slot=\"7832461759\" data-ad-format=\"auto\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><\/p>\n<p><!--WPRM Recipe 21669--><\/p>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe\">\n<h2 class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-name\">Biscotti Cookies with Hazelnuts, Pecans and Pistachios<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-summary\">\n<div style=\"direction: ltr\">Adapted from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.joyofbaking.com\/biscotti\/AlmondBiscotti.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Joy of Baking<\/a> with few changes and adjustments.<\/div>\n<\/p>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-equipment\">\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-ingredients\">\n<h4>For the biscotti cookie dough:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>260 grams (2 cups) all-purpose flour<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp. baking powder<\/li>\n<li>150 grams (3\/4 cup) sugar<\/li>\n<li>Pinch of salt<\/li>\n<li>2 large eggs<\/li>\n<li>2 large egg whites<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp. vanilla extract<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp. amaretto liqueur<\/li>\n<li>60 grams (2\/3 cup) hazelnuts<\/li>\n<li>60 grams (2\/3 cup) pecans<\/li>\n<li>60 grams (2\/3 cup) pistachios<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-instructions\">\n<ol>\n<li>Preheat oven to 180c degrees.<\/li>\n<li>In large bowl mix flour, baking powder, sugar and salt.<\/li>\n<li>Add eggs, egg whites, vanilla and amaretto, and stir until dough begin to form.<\/li>\n<li>Add hazelnuts, pecans and pistachios and mix just until they are assimilated into the mixture evenly.<\/li>\n<li>Divide the dough into two pieces, and form 2 loaves. Put the loaves on a baking tray lined with baking paper.<\/li>\n<li>Bake the loaves for 20-30 minutes, or until golden brown. Cool completely at room temperature.<\/li>\n<li>Lower the oven temperature to 150c degrees.<\/li>\n<li>Slice the loaves into 5-6mm cookies.
