Walnut Bread<\/h2>\n

Ingredients:<\/h4>\n
    \n
  • 750 grams all-purpose flour<\/li>\n
  • 500 ml. (2 cups) water<\/li>\n
  • 15 grams (3 tsp.) instant dry yeast<\/li>\n
  • 25 grams fine salt<\/li>\n
  • 1 tbsp. honey or date-syrup<\/li>\n
  • 1-2 tbsp. olive oil<\/li>\n
  • 100 grams chopped walnuts<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n

    1. In a bowl of an electric mixer with dough hook put flour, water, yeast, salt, honey and oil.<\/li>\n
    2. Knead for about 12-15 minutes, until dough is smooth.<\/li>\n
    3. Transfer the dough to a work surface and add chopped nuts. Continue to knead with your hands for about 2-3 minutes until smooth.<\/li>\n
    4. Put the dough in a large bowl, cover and let rise in a warm place or until it doubles in volume.<\/li>\n
    5. Divide the dough into two equal parts.<\/li>\n
    6. Form each part of the dough in to a loaf and put on a baking tray lined with lightly floured baking paper.<\/li>\n
    7. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 45-60 square or until almost doubled in volume.<\/li>\n
    8. Preheat oven to 250c degrees. If you have a baking stone place it at the bottom.<\/li>\n
    9. Sprinkle a little flour over each loaf and create incisions on top using a sharp knife.<\/li>\n
    10. Bake for about 12-15 minutes. Then reduce the temperature to 190c degrees and bake for another 20-25 minutes until golden brown and set.<\/li>\n
    11. Remove the baked loafs carefully and tap at the bottom. If you hear a hollow sound – the bread is ready. If not, return for a few more minutes of baking.<\/li>\n
    12. Cool the loves on a cooling rack completely at room temperature.<\/li>\n
    13. Slice and serve.<\/li>\n<\/ol><\/div>\n

      • Instead of walnuts you can use any other kind of nuts .<\/li>\n
      • You can freeze the walnut bread, well wrapped, for up to 4 weeks.<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n
