(1\/2 cup) vegetable oil<br \/>\n100 grams (1 stick) melted butter<br \/>\n3 large eggs<br \/>\n400 ml. (2 cups) yogurt or buttermilk<br \/>\n300 grams (1 1\/2 cups) sugar<br \/>\nPinch of salt<br \/>\n1\/2 tsp. vanilla extract<br \/>\n80 grams (8 tbsp.) cocoa powder<br \/>\n200 grams (1 1\/2 cups) all-purpose flour<br \/>\n10 grams (2 tsp.) baking powder<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><u>For chocolate-brandy truffles:<br \/>\n<\/u>125 ml. (1\/2 cup) whipping cream<br \/>\n250 grams dark chocolate<br \/>\n2 tbsp. brandy<br \/>\n2 tbsp. cocoa powder for coating<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><u>For chocolate ganache<\/u><u>:<br \/>\n<\/u>100 grams dark chocolate<br \/>\n125 ml. (1\/2 cup) whipping cream<br \/>\n1 tbsp. instant coffee powder<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><u>Decoration:<br \/>\n<\/u>100 grams dark chocolate, melted<\/p>\n<h4 dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Preparation<\/strong><strong>:<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ol dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Truffles: in a small saucepan bring to boil the cream.<\/li>\n<li>Pour the boiling cream over the chocolate and whisk together until mixture is uniform and shiny. Stir in the brandy.<\/li>\n<li>Pour the mixture into a square form about 20*20 cm size, and cool for about 30-45 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Cut the truffles into small squares perfectly sized 1*1cm (or slightly larger or slightly smaller).<\/li>\n<li>Coat the truffles using the cocoa powder.<\/li>\n<li>Keep the truffles in the refrigerator until use.<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of cake: preheat oven to 175 degrees and butter your pan.<\/li>\n<li>Mix sugar, oil, melted butter, eggs, salt, yogurt and vanilla. Sift in the flour, cocoa and baking powder and whisk just until blended.<\/li>\n<li>Pour the mixture into your pan and bake for about 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown.<\/li>\n<li>Cool the cake completely.<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of chocolate ganache: in a small saucepan bring to boil the cream and coffee.<\/li>\n<li>Pour the boiling cream mixture over the chocolate and stir until you get a smooth and creamy mixture. Pour the ganache over the cake and cool completely.<\/li>\n<li>Arrange truffles on top of the cake.<\/li>\n<li>Chocolate fence decoration: pour your melted chocolate over a 26cm long plastic cake wrap. Even the chocolate to a thin layer.<\/li>\n<li>Carefully wrap the chocolate around your cake.<\/li>\n<li>Cool until chocolate decoration is stabled and remover the cake wrap.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4 dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Notes:<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul dir=\"ltr\">\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Keep the chocolate truffles cake in a closed container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Instead of brandy you can use any liqueur you like in the same amount.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/span>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>If you like chocolate truffles \u2013 you&#8217;re gonna love this cake!
