If the mixture is too soft &#8211; add another 20-30 grams of nuts.<\/li>\n<li>Transfer the mixture to the baking pan and press down to the base and sides to form a crust.<\/li>\n<li>Cool in the freezer for about an hour.<\/li>\n<li>Chocolate cream: chop the chocolate and put in a bowl.<\/li>\n<li>Add coconut cream and melt together in the microwave or over double-boiler, until everything is melted and the mixture is uniform.<\/li>\n<li>Pour the chocolate cream into the cold crust and straighten the top.<\/li>\n<li>Cool in the freezer for about 30 minutes for the cream to set.<\/li>\n<li>Remove the pie from the pan, decorate with fresh cherries on top and serve.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4 dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Notes:<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul dir=\"ltr\">\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">You can use any type of nuts you like.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">It is important to work with cold coconut cream and use only the hardened part.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Instead of cherries you can decorate the pie with any other fruit you love.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Keep the pie in a closed container in the refrigerator for up to 6 days.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div id=\"attachment_16242\" style=\"width: 810px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-16242\" class=\"wp-image-16242\" title=\"Vegan Chocolate and Cherry Pie\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lilcookie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/vegan_chocolate_and_cherry_pie-s.jpg\" alt=\"Vegan Chocolate and Cherry Pie\" width=\"800\" height=\"1180\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-16242\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo:Natalie Levin<\/p><\/div>\n<\/span>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Chocolate and cherries is such a great combo in desserts.
