Irish Cream (optional)<br \/>\n250 ml. cold whipping cream<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><u>For dark chocolate ganache:<br \/>\n<\/u>180 ml. whipping cream<br \/>\n180 grams dark chocolate<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">3-4 packets of crushed Oreo cookies<br \/>\nA little grated chocolate for decoration<\/p>\n<h4 dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Preparation<\/strong><strong>:<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ol dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Mascarpone and espresso cream: in a mixer bowl with a whipping attachment, place mascarpone, powdered sugar, espresso and Irish Cream and whip at high speed until creamy.<\/li>\n<li>Add the cream in a thin stream and continue to whip until you get a firm cream.<\/li>\n<li>Keep the cream refrigerated until assembly.<\/li>\n<li>Chocolate ganache: in a small pot heat the cream to a boil.<\/li>\n<li>Pour the cream over the chopped chocolate, wait about a minute and whisk until uniform, shiny ganache is formed.<\/li>\n<li>Cool the ganache at room temperature for about 30 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Assemble the cups: at the bottom of each glass, place about a 1-2 tablespoons of ganache.<\/li>\n<li>Place the cookie crumbs over the ganache.<\/li>\n<li>Pipe a generous layer of mascarpone and espresso cream on top.<\/li>\n<li>Over the mascarpone cream, add more cookie crumbs, and another 1-2 tablespoons of ganache.<\/li>\n<li>Pipe the remaining mascarpone cream and decorate with grated chocolate.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4 dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Notes:<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">It is important to use room temperature mascarpone.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">You can use plain cream cheese instead of mascarpone.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Keep the desserts well wrapped in the refrigerator for 4-5 days.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div id=\"attachment_15922\" style=\"width: 810px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-15922\" class=\"wp-image-15922\" title=\"Mascarpone, Coffee and Chocolate Parfait\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lilcookie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/mascarpone_chocolate_dessert2-s.jpg\" alt=\"Mascarpone, Coffee and Chocolate Parfait\" width=\"800\" height=\"572\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-15922\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: Natalie Levin<\/p><\/div>\n<\/span>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This chocolate parfait dessert is some-what a combination of an English trifle and Tiramisu.
