It&#8217;s made of sesame seeds, and has a rich, nutty flavor with luscious texture.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">These tahini cookies are the most addictive cookies you can make. It&#8217;s so easy to make and such a great treat next to your coffee cup.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_10399\" style=\"width: 810px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-10399\" class=\"wp-image-10399\" title=\"Almond Tahini Cookies\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lilcookie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/tahini_sesame_cookies-s.jpg\" alt=\"Almond Tahini Cookies\" width=\"800\" height=\"535\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-10399\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: Natalie Levin<\/p><\/div>\n<p><script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block;\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-6091382327871787\" data-ad-slot=\"7832461759\" data-ad-format=\"auto\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><\/p>\n<p><!--WPRM Recipe 20641--><\/p>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe\">\n<h2 class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-name\">Almond Tahini Cookies<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-summary\">\n<p><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-equipment\">\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-ingredients\">\n<h4>For the tahini cookies:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>140 grams (1 cup) all-purpose flour<\/li>\n<li>140 grams (1 cup + 2 tbsp.) whole wheat flour<\/li>\n<li>70 grams (3\/4 cup) almond meal<\/li>\n<li>150 grams cold butter (cut into cubes)<\/li>\n<li>150 grams (3\/4 cup) sugar<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp. vanilla extract<\/li>\n<li>Pinch of salt<\/li>\n<li>2 tbsp. water<\/li>\n<li>200 grams (1 cup) raw tahini paste<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>For coating:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Sesame seeds<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-instructions\">\n<ol>\n<li>Preheat oven to 170c degrees.<\/li>\n<li>In your food processor put together flour, whole wheat flour, ground almonds, butter, sugar, vanilla and salt and blend together until the mixture gets crumbly.<\/li>\n<li>Add water and tahini and process until dough begins to form.<\/li>\n<li>With your hand create small balls and roll in sesame seeds until coated.<\/li>\n<li>Flatten the cookies slightly with your fingers, and place on baking pan lined with a baking sheet.<\/li>\n<li>Bake for about 12-14 minutes, or until golden brown.<\/li>\n<li>Cool completely and serve.<\/li>\n<\/ol><\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-notes\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\">Keep the tahini cookies in a sealed jar up to 10 days.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\">Instead of sesame seeds you can roll the cookies in chopped almonds.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\">Tahini paste can be bought in large supermarkets and health stores.<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-meta\">\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><!--End WPRM Recipe--><\/p>\n<\/span>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tahini is one of my favorite spreads, and I use it on a daily basis.
