It&#8217;s fragrant, decadent, so delicious and an all-time favorite. This pecan pie recipe combines the classic pecan pie with added maple and cinnamon, which creates an addictive and super tasty dessert.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_12025\" style=\"width: 810px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-12025\" class=\"wp-image-12025\" title=\"Cinnamon Maple Pecan Pie \" src=\"https:\/\/www.lilcookie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/pecan_maple_and_cinnamon_tart-s.jpg\" alt=\"Cinnamon Maple Pecan Pie \" width=\"800\" height=\"1200\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-12025\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: Natalie Levin<\/p><\/div>\n<p><script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block;\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-6091382327871787\" data-ad-slot=\"7832461759\" data-ad-format=\"auto\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><\/p>\n<h4 dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Cinnamon Maple Pecan Pie <\/strong><\/h4>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">5-6 small pie molds about 10cm in diameter<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><u>For short crust pastry:<br \/>\n<\/u>150 grams all-purpose flour<br \/>\n100 grams cold butter, cut into cubes<br \/>\n2 tbsp. sugar powder<br \/>\nPinch of salt<br \/>\n1\/2 tsp. vanilla extract<br \/>\n1 egg yolk<br \/>\n1-2 tbsp. cold water (as needed)<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><u>For pecan, maple and cinnamon<\/u><u> filling:<br \/>\n<\/u>2 large eggs<br \/>\n120 grams corn syrup<br \/>\n100 grams dark brown sugar<br \/>\n20 grams maple syrup<br \/>\nPinch of salt<br \/>\n1\/2 tsp. ground cinnamon<br \/>\n1\/2 tsp. vanilla extract<br \/>\nJuice of 1\/2 lemon<br \/>\n25 grams melted butter<br \/>\n100 grams chopped pecans<br \/>\n60-70 grams pecan halves<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><u>For glazing:<br \/>\n<\/u>2-3 tbsp. maple syrup<\/p>\n<h4 dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Preparation<\/strong><strong>:<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ol dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Crust: in a food processor with a steel blade blend flour, butter, salt, vanilla and sugar powder until mixture is crumbly.<\/li>\n<li>Add egg yolk and continue to blend just until dough clumps begin to form. If the dough is not united, gradually add a little water.<\/li>\n<li>Transfer the dough chunks on a lightly floured work surface and form a disc-shape with your hands.<\/li>\n<li>Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for about an hour.<\/li>\n<li>Roll out the dough on a floured work surface about 3-4 mm thick and cut out circles about 8-9 cm in diameter. Line the molds. It is important to create a right angle between the sides and the base of the crust, which will ensure the edges remain high when baking.<\/li>\n<li>Pierce the crust of each tartelette with a fork. Freeze the tartelette crusts for about 30 minutes before baking.<\/li>\n<li>Preheat oven to 170c degrees.<\/li>\n<li>Blind baking: put a sheet of heat-resistant plastic wrap or baking paper over each tartelette and fill with dry beans or special weights for baking.<\/li>\n<li>Bake for about 10-12 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Remove the weights and the plastic wrap and continue to bake the crust for about 3-4 minutes or until it is golden brown.<\/li>\n<li>Cool completely at room temperature.<\/li>\n<li>Raise oven temperature to 190c degrees.<\/li>\n<li>Pecan, maple and cinnamon filling: in medium bowl, whisk eggs, corn syrup, brown sugar, maple, salt, cinnamon, vanilla and lemon juice until mixture is smooth.<\/li>\n<li>Add melted butter and stir until smooth.<\/li>\n<li>Add chopped pecans and mix with a spatula until blended.<\/li>\n<li>Pour the filling onto half-baked crust and flatten the top.<\/li>\n<li>Arrange pecan halves neatly on top of each pie.<\/li>\n<li>Bake for about 13-17 minutes or until the filling sets and gets golden brown.<\/li>\n<li>Once cooled, brush the pecans with maple syrup and serve.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4 dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Notes:<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul dir=\"ltr\">\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Instead of pecans you can use any other type of nut you like.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">You can make the pie in a 24cm pie pan.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Instead of maple you can use honey or molasses.
