Amaretto liqueur (or rum)<\/li>\n<li>4 large eggs<\/li>\n<li>100 grams (1 cup) almond meal<\/li>\n<li>20 grams (2 tbsp.) cornstarch<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Decoration:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Sliced \u200b\u200bblanched almonds<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-instructions\">\n<ol>\n<li>Preheat oven to 175c degrees and grease the pan.<\/li>\n<li>Put butter and chocolate in a bowl and microwave stirring occasionally until everything is melted and mixture is smooth.<\/li>\n<li>Add sugar, salt, vanilla and amaretto and beat until the mixture is smooth.<\/li>\n<li>Add the eggs one at a time and whisk until blended.<\/li>\n<li>Add ground almonds and cornstarch and mix just until incorporated.<\/li>\n<li>Pour the batter into the pan, and smooth the top.<\/li>\n<li>Sprinkle with sliced \u200b\u200balmonds and bake for about 15-23 minutes, or until the edges are set, but the brownie is slightly soft in the center.<\/li>\n<li>Cool completely, cut into squares and serve.<\/li>\n<\/ol><\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-notes\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\">Instead of almond meal you can be use any other type of ground nuts.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\">These chocolate brownies are at their best at room temperature, but it is advisable to keep them in the refrigerator in an airtight container.
