It&#8217;s the perfect dessert for chocolate and peanut butter lovers!<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_15576\" style=\"width: 810px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-15576\" class=\"wp-image-15576\" title=\"Peanut Butter Chocolate Eclairs\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lilcookie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/chocolate_and_peanut_butter_eclairs-s.jpg\" alt=\"Peanut Butter Chocolate Eclairs\" width=\"800\" height=\"1200\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-15576\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: Natalie Levin<\/p><\/div>\n<p><script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block;\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-6091382327871787\" data-ad-slot=\"7832461759\" data-ad-format=\"auto\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><\/p>\n<p><!--WPRM Recipe 20148--><\/p>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe\">\n<h2 class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-name\">Peanut Butter Chocolate Eclairs<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-summary\">\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-equipment\">\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-ingredients\">\n<h4>For the eclairs:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>160 ml. water<\/li>\n<li>5 grams sugar<\/li>\n<li>70 grams butter<\/li>\n<li>3 grams fine salt<\/li>\n<li>15 grams cornstarch<\/li>\n<li>90 grams all-purpose flour<\/li>\n<li>2-3 eggs (beaten)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>For peanut butter cream:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>250 ml. whipping cream<\/li>\n<li>100 grams smooth peanut butter<\/li>\n<li>50 grams sugar powder<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>For the chocolate ganache (for both dipping and topping):<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>250 grams dark chocolate<\/li>\n<li>250 ml. whipping cream<\/li>\n<li>Pinch of salt<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Decoration:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>50-60 grams of salted halved peanuts (roasted)<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-instructions\">\n<ol>\n<li>Make the eclairs: preheat oven to 180c degrees.<\/li>\n<li>In a medium saucepan put water, salt, sugar and butter and heat to a strong boil.<\/li>\n<li>Add cornstarch and flour and stir while cooking, until it turns into a lump of dough.<\/li>\n<li>Transfer the dough to the bowl of an electric mixer with a paddle attachment and mix on medium speed for 2-3 minutes until it cools down a little.<\/li>\n<li>Add the eggs gradually while beating until dough is elastic and smooth. Check the readiness of dough by creating a &#8220;trail&#8221; with a wooden spoon in the center of the dough &#8211; if the track remains stable, add some eggs, and if it closes a bit &#8211; the dough is ready. It is important not to add too many eggs to the dough or it may become too soft and ruined.<\/li>\n<li>Transfer the dough to a pastry bag fitted with a serrated 2 cm piping tip. On a baking tray lined with baking paper pipe 8-10 cm long eclairs. It&#8217;s important to leave some space between the eclairs.<\/li>\n<li>Bake the eclairs for 20-25 minutes until golden and set.<\/li>\n<li>Cool completely at room temperature.<\/li>\n<li>Make 2 small holes at the bottom of each eclair.<\/li>\n<li>Peanut Butter Cream: in a bowl of a mixer with a whipping attachment, whip cream, peanut butter and powdered sugar on high speed until creamy and very stable.<\/li>\n<li>Fill the eclairs with the peanut butter cream, and keep them stuffed in the refrigerator until coating and decoration.<\/li>\n<li>Chocolate ganache: chop the chocolate and place in a bowl.<\/li>\n<li>Heat cream and salt in a small saucepan to simmer.<\/li>\n<li>Pour the hot cream over the chopped chocolate, wait a minute, and whisk well until uniform and shiny chocolate ganache is formed.<\/li>\n<li>Dip the top of the eclairs in the warm ganache and return them to cool in the refrigerator to set.<\/li>\n<li>Transfer the remaining ganache into a wide box and refrigerate for 2-3 hours until completely cold.<\/li>\n<li>Transfer the cold ganache into a bowl of a mixer with a whipping attachment and whip at high-speed until you stable and airy.<\/li>\n<li>Transfer the cream into a pastry bag fitted with 2 cm serrated piping tip and drizzle chocolate cream on top of each \u00e9clair.<\/li>\n<li>Decorate with roasted salted peanuts and serve.<\/li>\n<\/ol><\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-notes\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\">The eclairs are at their best on the day of preparation, but you can keep it in a closed container in the refrigerator up to 2-3 days.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\">Instead of peanuts you can decorate the eclairs with any other nut you like.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\">Instead of water, you can make the eclairs (the choux pastry) with the same amount of milk.<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-meta\">\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><!--End WPRM Recipe--><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_15578\" style=\"width: 810px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-15578\" class=\"wp-image-15578\" title=\"Peanut Butter Chocolate Eclairs\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lilcookie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/chocolate_and_peanut_butter_eclairs2-s.jpg\" alt=\"Peanut Butter Chocolate Eclairs\" width=\"800\" height=\"533\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-15578\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: Natalie Levin<\/p><\/div>\n<div id=\"attachment_15579\" style=\"width: 810px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-15579\" class=\"wp-image-15579\" title=\"Peanut Butter Chocolate Eclairs\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lilcookie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/chocolate_and_peanut_butter_eclairs3-s.jpg\" alt=\"Peanut Butter Chocolate Eclairs\" width=\"800\" height=\"1200\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-15579\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: Natalie Levin<\/p><\/div>\n<\/span>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;m in love with chocolate and peanut butter combination.
