It&#8217;s super easy to make and absolutely delicious \u2013 kids will love them.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_15533\" style=\"width: 810px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-15533\" class=\"wp-image-15533\" title=\"Gluten-Free Chocolate and Tahini Cookies\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lilcookie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/gf_chocolate_andtahini_cookies-s.jpg\" alt=\"Gluten-Free Chocolate and Tahini Cookies\" width=\"800\" height=\"1200\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-15533\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: Natalie Levin<\/p><\/div>\n<p><script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block;\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-6091382327871787\" data-ad-slot=\"7832461759\" data-ad-format=\"auto\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><\/p>\n<p><!--WPRM Recipe 19681--><\/p>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe\">\n<h2 class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-name\">Gluten-Free Chocolate Tahini Cookies<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-summary\">\n<p>Based on <a href=\"www.ambitiouskitchen.com\/2016\/11\/flourless-paleo-chocolate-almond-butter-cookies\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">this recipe<\/a> with some of my changes and adjustments<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-equipment\">\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-ingredients\">\n<h4>For the cookies:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>240 grams (1 cup) raw tahini paste<\/li>\n<li>100 grams (1\/2 cup) light brown sugar<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp. vanilla extract<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 tsp. fine salt<\/li>\n<li>1 large egg<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp. baking soda<\/li>\n<li>50 grams (5 tbsp.) cocoa powder<\/li>\n<li>150 grams dark chocolate (coarsely chopped)<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-instructions\">\n<ol>\n<li>Preheat oven to 170c degrees and line a baking tray with baking paper.<\/li>\n<li>In a large bowl, mix tahini, sugar, vanilla, salt and egg until blended.<\/li>\n<li>Add baking soda and cocoa powder and mix until dough is smooth.<\/li>\n<li>Add about 3\/4 amount of chopped chocolate into the dough and stir until it is incorporated.<\/li>\n<li>Form walnut-sized balls and place on the tray.<\/li>\n<li>Sprinkle the remaining chopped chocolate on each cookie and press lightly and gently.<\/li>\n<li>Bake for 8-10 minutes or until the cookies swell, crack and set at the edges, but still slightly soft in the center.<\/li>\n<li>Cool completely at room temperature.<\/li>\n<li>Keep in a sealed jar.<\/li>\n<\/ol><\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-notes\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\">Keep the cookies in a sealed jar up to a week.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\">You can use almond butter instead of tahini.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\">You can add some sesame seeds into the mixture.<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-meta\">\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><!--End WPRM Recipe--><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_15532\" style=\"width: 810px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-15532\" class=\"wp-image-15532\" title=\"Gluten-Free Chocolate and Tahini Cookies\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lilcookie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/gf_chocolate_andtahini_cookies2-s.jpg\" alt=\"Gluten-Free Chocolate and Tahini Cookies\" width=\"800\" height=\"533\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-15532\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: Natalie Levin<\/p><\/div>\n<\/span>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>These chocolate and tahini cookies are so fudgy and chocolate-y no one will believe it contains no dairy or gluten!
