It&#8217;s very easy to make and has a little caramelized taste added because of the date-syrup addition to the dough.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_23376\" style=\"width: 810px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-23376\" class=\"wp-image-23376\" title=\"White Chocolate Chip Cookies\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lilcookie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/white_chocolate_and_spices_cookies-s.jpg\" alt=\"White Chocolate Chip Cookies\" width=\"800\" height=\"534\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.lilcookie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/white_chocolate_and_spices_cookies-s.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/www.lilcookie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/white_chocolate_and_spices_cookies-s-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.lilcookie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/white_chocolate_and_spices_cookies-s-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.lilcookie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/white_chocolate_and_spices_cookies-s-360x240.jpg 360w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-23376\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: Natalie Levin<\/p><\/div>\n<p><script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block;\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-6091382327871787\" data-ad-slot=\"7832461759\" data-ad-format=\"auto\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><\/p>\n<h4 dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>White Chocolate Chip Cookies <\/strong><\/h4>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">25-30 cookies<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><u>For the cookies<\/u><u>:<br \/>\n<\/u>100 grams soft butter<br \/>\n80 grams light brown sugar<br \/>\n1 tbsp. date syrup<br \/>\nPinch of salt<br \/>\n1\/2 tsp. vanilla extract<br \/>\n1 egg yolk<br \/>\n125 grams all-purpose flour<br \/>\n1\/4 tsp. baking soda<br \/>\n100 grams white chocolate chips<\/p>\n<h4 dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Preparation<\/strong><strong>:<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ol dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Preheat oven to 170 Celsius degrees.<\/li>\n<li>In a bowl of a mixer with a paddle-attachment whip butter, brown sugar, date syrup, salt and vanilla until mixture is creamy and very soft.<\/li>\n<li>Add the yolk and mix until it is absorbed into the mixture.<\/li>\n<li>Add flour and baking soda and mix just until the dough starts to form.<\/li>\n<li>Add chocolate and mix until it is evenly dispersed in the dough.<\/li>\n<li>Roll the dough into small balls about 2-3 cm in diameter, and put on a baking tray lined with baking paper.<\/li>\n<li>Bake for 10-15 minutes or until golden and set.<\/li>\n<li>Cool completely and serve.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4 dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Notes:<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Keep the cookies in a sealed jar for up to 4-5 days.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">You can use any kind of chocolate you like.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">You can add chopped nuts into dough.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Instead of date syrup you can use honey or maple.
