It&#8217;s topped with dark and white chocolate and Sprinkles, and is so good served hot.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_15507\" style=\"width: 810px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-15507\" class=\"wp-image-15507\" title=\"Chocolate and Sprinkles Donuts\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lilcookie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/111.jpg\" alt=\"Chocolate and Sprinkles Donuts\" width=\"800\" height=\"529\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-15507\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: Raheli Krut<\/p><\/div>\n<p><script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block;\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-6091382327871787\" data-ad-slot=\"7832461759\" data-ad-format=\"auto\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><\/p>\n<h4 dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Chocolate and Sprinkles Donuts <\/strong><\/h4>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">20 small donuts about 7-8 cm in diameter<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><u>For the dough<\/u><u>:<br \/>\n<\/u>350 grams all-purpose flour<br \/>\n8 grams active dry yeast<br \/>\n1 large egg<br \/>\n50 grams sugar<br \/>\n175 ml. milk<br \/>\n1\/2 tsp. vanilla extract<br \/>\n1\/2 tsp. salt<br \/>\n40 grams soft butter<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><u>Topping<\/u><u>:<br \/>\n<\/u>100 grams melted dark chocolate<br \/>\n100 grams melted white chocolate<br \/>\nSprinkles<br \/>\nCrushed cocoa beans<\/p>\n<h4 dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Preparation<\/strong><strong>:<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ol dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Dough: in bowl of a mixer with a dough hook put flour, yeast, eggs, sugar, milk, vanilla, salt and butter and knead for 10-12 minutes until the dough is soft and slightly sticky.<\/li>\n<li>Cover the bowl and let rise for 1-2 hours or until the dough doubles in volume.<\/li>\n<li>On a lightly floured surface, roll the dough about 2 cm thick.<\/li>\n<li>Cut into 7-8 cm in diameter circles and cut out an inner circle about 2-3 cm in diameter.<\/li>\n<li>Place the donuts on a greased baking paper.<\/li>\n<li>Roll the inner circles cut (the holes) and place on the paper as well.<\/li>\n<li>Brush the donuts with a little oil on top, cover and let rise until almost double the volume.<\/li>\n<li>In a deep frying pan, heat oil to 180c degrees.<\/li>\n<li>Fry the donuts for about 1-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown. The donut holes may take shorter time of frying.<\/li>\n<li>Strain and cool.<\/li>\n<li>Coating: dip the top of each donut in melted chocolate and sprinkle with sprinkles and\/or crushed cocoa beans.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4 dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Notes:<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul dir=\"ltr\">\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Serve the donuts as much as possible close to frying.
