(1\/2 cup) milk<\/li>\n<li>125 ml. (1\/2 cup) vegetable oil<\/li>\n<li>45 ml. (3 tbsp.) heavy cream<\/li>\n<li>400 grams date spread<\/li>\n<li>Pinch of salt<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp. vanilla extract<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 tsp. ground cinnamon<\/li>\n<li>280 grams (2 cups) all-purpose flour<\/li>\n<li>2 tbsp. cornstarch<\/li>\n<li>2 tsp. baking powder<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>For salted caramel glaze:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>100 grams (1\/2 cup) sugar<\/li>\n<li>175 ml. (3\/4 cup) heavy cream<\/li>\n<li>25 grams (2 tbsp.) butter<\/li>\n<li>1 tbsp. date syrup<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 tsp. Atlantic sea salt<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Decoration:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Chopped toasted pecans<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-instructions\">\n<ol>\n<li>Preheat oven to 170c degrees and grease the pan well.<\/li>\n<li>In a large bowl, whisk eggs, sugar, milk, oil, cream, date spread, salt, vanilla and cinnamon until the mixture is smooth.<\/li>\n<li>Add flour, cornstarch and baking powder and beat well just until incorporated.<\/li>\n<li>Pour the mixture into the pan, and smooth the top.<\/li>\n<li>Bake for about 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the cake comes out with moist crumbs.<\/li>\n<li>Cool for 10 minutes, turn on a serving plate and cool completely at room temperature.<\/li>\n<li>Salted caramel glaze: in a large skillet put sugar and form caramel.<\/li>\n<li>Meanwhile, heat cream, butter, date syrup and Atlantic sea salt to simmer.<\/li>\n<li>When the caramel is amber, add in the cream gradually and carefully.
