I remember how I got back home from school and just couldn&#8217;t wait for the show to start! I especially loved Elmo and Cookie Monster, but really loved each and every thing in this program.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">These cupcakes are inspired by a lot of designs I saw on the web. (1\/2 cup) vegetable oil<\/li>\n<li>1 large egg<\/li>\n<li>180 ml. (3\/4 cup) milk<\/li>\n<li>150 grams (3\/4 cup) sugar<\/li>\n<li>Pinch of salt<\/li>\n<li>50 grams (5 tbsp.) cocoa powder<\/li>\n<li>100 grams (3\/4 cup) all-purpose flour<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp. baking powder<\/li>\n<li>60 grams dark chocolate chips<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>For the buttercream:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>200 grams (1 cup) soft butter<\/li>\n<li>350 grams sugar powder<\/li>\n<li>1 teaspoon vanilla extract<\/li>\n<li>Pinch of salt<\/li>\n<li>2 tbsp. heavy cream<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Food colors according to desired character:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Elmo &#8211; red (white, orange)<\/li>\n<li>Oscar &#8211; green (brown, red, white)<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-instructions\">\n<ol>\n<li>Make the cupcakes: preheat oven to 170c degrees and line a muffin pan with cupcakes paper molds.<\/li>\n<li>In a large bowl, whisk oil, egg, milk, sugar and salt into a smooth mixture.<\/li>\n<li>Add cocoa powder, flour, baking powder and chocolate chips and stir just until the batter is smooth.<\/li>\n<li>Transfer the batter into the pan and fills about 2\/3 of height of each mold.<\/li>\n<li>Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the cupcakes swell, set and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with moist crumbs.<\/li>\n<li>Cool completely at room temperature before decoration.<\/li>\n<li>Buttercream: in a bowl of a mixer with a whipping-attachment put butter, powdered sugar, vanilla, salt and cream and blend at medium-high until creamy and very stable.<\/li>\n<li>Divide the cream into bowls and add desired colors to each bowl for the desired color. Stir the cream until evenly painted.
