(1 cup) tangerine juice<\/li>\n<li>zest of 2 tangerines<\/li>\n<li>160 ml. (2\/3 cup) vegetable oil<\/li>\n<li>280 grams (2 cups) all-purpose flour<\/li>\n<li>10 grams (2 tsp.) baking powder<\/li>\n<li>50 grams (1\/2 cup) ground coconut<\/li>\n<li>150 grams dark chocolate (finely chopped)<\/li>\n<li>Icing sugar for decoration<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-instructions\">\n<ol>\n<li>Preheat oven to 170c degrees and grease the pans.<\/li>\n<li>In a large bowl, whisk eggs, sugar, vanilla, salt, juice, zest and oil into a smooth mixture.<\/li>\n<li>Add flour, baking powder and coconut and mix just until incorporated.<\/li>\n<li>Add chopped chocolate and stir just until incorporated.<\/li>\n<li>Pour the batter into the pan and level the top.<\/li>\n<li>Bake for about 30-45 minutes or until a toothpick stuck in the center of the cakes comes out with moist crumbs.<\/li>\n<li>Cool completely at room temperature, sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve.<\/li>\n<\/ol><\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-notes\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\">Keep the cakes in a closed container in the refrigerator for up to 5-6 days.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\">Serve the cake at room temperature.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\">The cakes can be frozen, well wrapped, for up to a month.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\">You can use milk or white chocolate instead of dark chocolate.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\">You can also make the recipe in a 24-26cm round pan.<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-meta\">\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><!--End WPRM Recipe--><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_13761\" style=\"width: 810px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-13761\" class=\"wp-image-13761\" title=\"Tangerine Chocolate Chip Cake\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lilcookie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/clementine_coconut_and_chocolate_cake2-s-1.jpg\" alt=\"Tangerine Chocolate Chip Cake\" width=\"800\" height=\"534\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-13761\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: Natalie Levin<\/p><\/div>\n<\/span>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tangerine is one of my favorite citrus fruits during winter time.
