It&#8217;s crunchy and has the most addictive smell, and Israelis absolutely love it.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">This peanut butter cake roll combines chocolate and Bamba, and it has a similar taste to Reese&#8217;s Cups. (1 1\/2 cups) heavy cream<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Decoration:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Peanut butter chips<\/li>\n<li>Chocolate chips<\/li>\n<li>Crushed Bamba<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-instructions\">\n<ol>\n<li>Peanut butter and Bamba Swiss roll: preheat oven to 170c degrees and line oven pan with greased baking paper.<\/li>\n<li>In a mixer bowl, put eggs, salt, sugar and vanilla and whip at high speed for 5-6 minutes until you get a light and airy cream.<\/li>\n<li>Add peanut butter and mix until it is assimilated into the mixture.<\/li>\n<li>Add flour and baking powder and fold gently just until a smooth mixture is formed.<\/li>\n<li>Pour the batter onto the baking paper and flatten evenly.<\/li>\n<li>Sprinkle powdered Bamba on top.<\/li>\n<li>Bake for about 8-10 minutes or until golden and springy to touch.<\/li>\n<li>Cool to room temperature.<\/li>\n<li>Chocolate cream: chop the chocolate and put in a bowl.<\/li>\n<li>In a small pot heat the cream to a simmer.<\/li>\n<li>Pour the hot cream over the chocolate, wait a minute, and beat until you get a shiny chocolate ganache.<\/li>\n<li>Cool the ganache in the fridge for 3-4 hours or until it is completely cold.<\/li>\n<li>Transfer the cold ganache into a bowl of a mixer with a whipping hook and whip at high speed until stable cream is formed.<\/li>\n<li>Spread 2\/3 of the amount of cream on top of the roll and sprinkle peanut butter chips, chocolate chips and crumbled Bamba generously.<\/li>\n<li>Roll tightly.<\/li>\n<li>Transfer the remaining chocolate cream into a piping bag fitted with 2 cm jagged piping tip and pipe on top of the Swiss roll.<\/li>\n<li>Decorate with peanut butter and chocolate chips and crumbled Bamba.<\/li>\n<li>Cool the roll in the fridge for 3-4 hours and serve.<\/li>\n<\/ol><\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-notes\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\">Keep the roll in a closed container in the refrigerator for up to 4-5 days.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\">Gluten-free version: use 50 grams cornstarch and 50 grams almond meal instead of flour.<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-meta\">\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><!--End WPRM Recipe--><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_13627\" style=\"width: 810px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-13627\" class=\"wp-image-13627\" title=\"Peanut Butter Cake Roll with Chocolate Filling\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lilcookie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/chocolate_bamba_swiss_roll3-s.jpg\" alt=\"Peanut Butter Cake Roll with Chocolate Filling\" width=\"800\" height=\"557\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-13627\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: Natalie Levin<\/p><\/div>\n<\/span>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>One of the most popular treats in Israel is Bamba.
