It&#8217;s one of the easiest things to bake, and yet not a lot of people bake breads at home regularly.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">This bread is so easy to make, has the most delicious smell, and is simply delicious. It&#8217;s perfect for fall season, when ton of pumpkins in all shapes and sizes are scattered throughout the market.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_15036\" style=\"width: 810px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-15036\" class=\"wp-image-15036\" title=\"Pumpkin Bread \" src=\"https:\/\/www.lilcookie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/pumpkin_seeds_bread-s.jpg\" alt=\"Pumpkin Bread \" width=\"800\" height=\"1200\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-15036\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: Natalie Levin<\/p><\/div>\n<p><script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block;\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-6091382327871787\" data-ad-slot=\"7832461759\" data-ad-format=\"auto\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><\/p>\n<h4 dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Pumpkin Bread <\/strong><\/h4>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">2 large loaves<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><u>Ingredients<\/u><u>:<br \/>\n<\/u>500 grams whole wheat flour<br \/>\n450 grams all-purpose flour<br \/>\n16 grams instant dry yeast<br \/>\n50 grams maple syrup<br \/>\n70 ml. vegetable oil<br \/>\n200 grams grated pumpkin<br \/>\n18 grams fine salt<br \/>\n500 ml. water (add gradually)<br \/>\n150 grams pumpkin seeds<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Some all-purpose flour for dusting<\/p>\n<h4 dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Preparation<\/strong><strong>:<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ol dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>In a bowl of an electric mixer with a dough hook put whole wheat flour, all-purpose flour, yeast, maple, oil, grated pumpkin, salt and water and knead on low speed for 10-12 minutes until the dough is smooth. Towards the end of kneading add pumpkin seeds. The resulting dough should be soft but not sticky.<\/li>\n<li>Transfer the dough to a lightly floured work surface and knead another 2-3 minutes manually. Form a round shape and place in a large bowl. Cover and let rise for about 1-2 hours or until the dough doubles its volume.<\/li>\n<li>On a floured surface, divide the dough into 2 parts.<\/li>\n<li>Form a loaf shape and place in a greased bread pan (30 cm in length). Repeat with the other half of the dough.<\/li>\n<li>Cover the loaves and let rise in a warm invironment for about an hour or until they almost doubled their volume.<\/li>\n<li>Preheat the oven to 250c degrees. If you have a baking stone, place it in the lower third of the oven.<\/li>\n<li>With a long knife create large incision in the center of each loaf. Sprinkle a little flour on top of the loaves.<\/li>\n<li>Bake the loaves for about 10-12 minutes at high heat. Then lower the oven temperature to 180c degrees and continue to bake for another 25-35 minutes until completely set and golden brown.<\/li>\n<li>Extracting the loaves from the pans while still hot and return to the oven for another 2-3 minutes (to dry the bottom).<\/li>\n<li>Remove and place on a cooling rack.<\/li>\n<li>Cool completely at room temperature.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4 dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Notes:<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul dir=\"ltr\">\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">You can use carrots or squash instead of pumpkin.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">It is recommended to add the water gradually rather than all of it in the beginning.
