(1\/3 cup) heavy cream<\/li>\n<li>100 grams (1\/2 cup) sugar<\/li>\n<li>4 large eggs<\/li>\n<li>2 egg yolks<\/li>\n<li>Pinch of salt<\/li>\n<li>25 grams (2 tbsp.) cornstarch<\/li>\n<li>35 grams (1\/3 cup) ground walnuts<\/li>\n<li>10 grams (1 tbsp.) cocoa powder<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp. baking powder<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>For chocolate ganache:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>180 ml. (2\/3 cup) heavy cream<\/li>\n<li>150 grams dark chocolate<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>For vanilla cream:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>250 ml. (1 cup) cold whipping cream<\/li>\n<li>2 tbsp. powdered sugar<\/li>\n<li>1 tbsp. instant vanilla pudding powder<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp. vanilla extract<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Decoration:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Fresh strawberries<\/li>\n<li>some d\u00e9cor gel for brushing<\/li>\n<li>grated white chocolate<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-instructions\">\n<ol>\n<li>Gluten free chocolate cake: preheat oven to 170c degrees and grease the pan.<\/li>\n<li>Chop the chocolate and put in a bowl. Add butter and cream and solvents together in the microwave or over double boiler until everything is melted and mixture is smooth.<\/li>\n<li>In a separate bowl whip eggs, egg yolks, sugar and salt at high speed until the mixture is airy, bright and very swollen.<\/li>\n<li>Add the whipped eggs into the chocolate mixture and fold gently.<\/li>\n<li>Add cornstarch, ground nuts, cocoa powder and baking powder and stir just until incorporated.<\/li>\n<li>Pour the mixture into the pan and bake for about 30-40 minutes or until the cake is set at the edges but still a bit soft in the center.<\/li>\n<li>Cool completely at room temperature. Use a knife to release the edges of the cake from the pan.<\/li>\n<li>Chocolate ganache: Heat cream to a simmer.<\/li>\n<li>Chop the chocolate and put in a bowl.<\/li>\n<li>Pour the hot cream over the chocolate, wait a minute, and beat until shiny chocolate ganache is formed.<\/li>\n<li>Pour the ganache over the cake and let it spill over the sides (while still inside the pan).<\/li>\n<li>Cool the cake completely for at least 3-4 hours in the refrigerator until ganache sets completely.<\/li>\n<li>Remove the cake from the pan and place on a serving dish.<\/li>\n<li>Vanilla cream: in a bowl of a mixer, whip cream, powdered sugar, cream stabilizer and vanilla until cream is very stable.<\/li>\n<li>Transfer the whipped cream into a pastry bag fitted with jagged 2 cm piping tip and pipe mounds of cream over the cake.<\/li>\n<li>Arrange strawberries on top.<\/li>\n<li>Brush with d\u00e9cor gel and sprinkle some chopped white chocolate.<\/li>\n<\/ol><\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-notes\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\">You can make this gluten free chocolate cake without cream and strawberries even a week in advance and keep in the freezer.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\">The whipped cream and strawberries should be added before serving.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\">You can use any kind of berry you want instead of strawberries.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\">Shredded coconut can be used instead of ground buts.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\">If you want ultra-high cake make it in 20-22 cm pan.<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-meta\">\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><!--End WPRM Recipe--><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_13614\" style=\"width: 810px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-13614\" class=\"wp-image-13614\" title=\"Gluten Free Chocolate Cake with Strawberry\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lilcookie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/chocolate_strawberry_and_cream_cake2-s-1.jpg\" alt=\"Gluten Free Chocolate Cake with Strawberry\" width=\"800\" height=\"534\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-13614\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: Natalie Levin<\/p><\/div>\n<\/span>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I love chocolate, strawberries and cream, and this cake is definitely one of the best \u2013 easy gluten free chocolate cake topped with whipped cream and fresh strawberries.
