(1 1\/2 cups) cold whipping cream<\/li>\n<li>225 grams (1 pack) mascarpone cheese<\/li>\n<li>2 tbsp. sugar powder<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 tsp. vanilla extract<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>For dark chocolate ganache:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>100 grams dark chocolate<\/li>\n<li>125 ml. (1\/2 cup) whipping cream<\/li>\n<li>100 grams amarena cherries (chopped)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Decoration:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>2-3 whole amarena cherries to top each dessert<\/li>\n<li>A little grated dark chocolate<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-instructions\">\n<ol>\n<li>Mascarpone cream: in a bowl of a mixer whip cream, mascarpone, icing sugar and vanilla until creamy and stable.<\/li>\n<li>Transfer the cream into a pastry bag and pipe at the bottom of each cup to about 1\/3 height.<\/li>\n<li>Dark chocolate ganache: chop the chocolate and put in a bowl.<\/li>\n<li>Add heavy cream and melt together in the microwave or over double boiler, until everything is melted and mixture is smooth.<\/li>\n<li>Cool slightly at room temperature.<\/li>\n<li>Pour 1-2 teaspoons of chocolate ganache on top of the cream and sprinkle with a little chopped cherries.<\/li>\n<li>Pipe another layer of mascarpone cream, then another 1-2 teaspoons of ganache and so on to the top of the glass.<\/li>\n<li>Garnish with whole Amarena cherries and chocolate and serve.<\/li>\n<\/ol><\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-notes\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\">The parfaits can be prepared a day or two in advance before serving.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\">Keep the parfaits in a closed container in the refrigerator for up to 4-5 days.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\">Amarena cherries can be bought in farmer&#8217;s markets and delis.<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-meta\">\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><!--End WPRM Recipe--><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_12545\" style=\"width: 810px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-12545\" class=\"wp-image-12545\" title=\"Chocolate Amarena Cherry Parfait\" src=\"https:\/\/www.oogio.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/chocolate_mascarpone_and_amarena_cherry_dessert-s.jpg\" alt=\"Chocolate Amarena Cherry Parfait\" width=\"800\" height=\"354\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-12545\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: Natalie Levin<\/p><\/div>\n<\/span>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Gluten free and so easy to make dessert that&#8217;s also great for hosting: 3 layers of mascarpone cream, dark chocolate ganache and amarena cherries in one beautiful chocolate cherry parfait.
