Simply whist a few ingredients in a bowl, and after not-so-long baking time you get a great dessert everyone just loves.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">These cheesecake brownies also have a cream cheese layer and chocolate ganache on top, which make it more festive and great for hosting.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_12581\" style=\"width: 810px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-12581\" class=\"wp-image-12581\" title=\"Double Chocolate Cheese Brownies \" src=\"https:\/\/www.oogio.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/double_chocolate_cheesecake_brownies-s.jpg\" alt=\"Double Chocolate Cheese Brownies \" width=\"800\" height=\"795\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-12581\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: Natalie Levin<\/p><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block;\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-6091382327871787\" data-ad-slot=\"7832461759\" data-ad-format=\"auto\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><\/p>\n<p><!--WPRM Recipe 20756--><\/p>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe\">\n<h2 class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-name\">Double Chocolate Cheesecake Brownies<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-summary\">\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-equipment\">\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-ingredients\">\n<h4>For the brownie:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>150 grams dark chocolate<\/li>\n<li>50 grams milk chocolate<\/li>\n<li>150 grams butter<\/li>\n<li>120 grams (1\/2 cup + 2 tbsp.) sugar<\/li>\n<li>pinch of salt<\/li>\n<li>3 large eggs<\/li>\n<li>70 grams (1\/2 cup) all-purpose flour or cornstarch<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>For the cheese filling:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>225 grams (1 package) cream cheese (at least 25% fat)<\/li>\n<li>50 grams (1\/4 cup) sugar<\/li>\n<li>pinch of salt<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp. vanilla extract<\/li>\n<li>2 large eggs<\/li>\n<li>1 tbsp. all-purpose flour or cornstarch<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>For chocolate ganache:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>50 grams of dark chocolate<\/li>\n<li>50 grams milk chocolate<\/li>\n<li>80 ml. (1\/3 cup) heavy cream<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>For decoration:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>125 ml. (1\/2 cup) heavy cream<\/li>\n<li>1 tbsp. powdered sugar<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp. vanilla extract<\/li>\n<li>30-40 grams chopped milk chocolate for garnish<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-instructions\">\n<ol>\n<li>Preheat oven to 170 degrees and lightly grease the pan.<\/li>\n<li>Chop the two types of chocolate and place in a bowl. Add butter and melt together in the microwave or over a double-boiler, until everything is melted and mixture is smooth.<\/li>\n<li>Add sugar and salt and beat into a smooth mixture.<\/li>\n<li>Add eggs one at a time, stirring between each addition.<\/li>\n<li>Add flour (or cornstarch) and beat just until a smooth batter forms.<\/li>\n<li>Pour the batter into the pan, flatten the top and bake for about 10-15 minutes until the brownie is set in the edges, but slightly wobbly in the center.<\/li>\n<li>Cool at room temperature and in the meantime, prepare the cheese layer.<\/li>\n<li>Cheese filling: in a medium bowl, beat cheese, sugar, salt, vanilla, eggs and flour (or cornstarch) into a smooth mixture.<\/li>\n<li>Pour the cheese mixture over brownie base and bake for 10-15 minutes or until the cheese layer is set, but slightly soft in the center.<\/li>\n<li>Cool completely at room temperature.<\/li>\n<li>Chocolate ganache: chop the two types of chocolate and place in a bowl.<\/li>\n<li>Add heavy cream and melt together in the microwave or over a double-boiler until everything is melted and mixture is smooth.<\/li>\n<li>Pour the ganache over the cooled cake and make sure all the top is covered with chocolate.<\/li>\n<li>Cool the brownie for at least 3-4 hours in the refrigerator before cutting.<\/li>\n<li>Cut into squares.<\/li>\n<li>Decoration: whip heavy cream, powdered sugar and vanilla until firm cream Chantilly is formed.<\/li>\n<li>Transfer the whipped cream with a pastry bag and pipe small mounds on top of the ganache.<\/li>\n<li>Garnish with some chopped chocolate and serve.<\/li>\n<\/ol><\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-notes\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\">If you want, you can use only bittersweet chocolate.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\">Keep the brownies in a closed container in the refrigerator for up to 5-6 days.
