The perfect treat for the upcoming weekend.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_19105\" style=\"width: 810px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-19105\" class=\"wp-image-19105\" title=\"Cinnamon Marble Cake\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lilcookie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/cinnamon_cake.jpg\" alt=\"Cinnamon Marble Cake\" width=\"800\" height=\"533\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-19105\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: Natalie Levin<\/p><\/div>\n<p><script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block;\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-6091382327871787\" data-ad-slot=\"7832461759\" data-ad-format=\"auto\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><\/p>\n<h4 dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Cinnamon Marble Cake <\/strong><\/h4>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">25 cm long loaf cake pan<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><u>Ingredients:<br \/>\n<\/u>2 large eggs<br \/>\n250 ml. heavy cream<br \/>\n1\/2 tsp. vanilla extract<br \/>\n100 grams (1\/2 cup) sugar<br \/>\n140 grams (1 cup) flour<br \/>\n1 tsp. baking powder<br \/>\nPinch of salt<br \/>\n1 tbsp. cinnamon<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Icing sugar for serving<\/p>\n<h4 dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Preparation<\/strong><strong>:<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ol dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Preheat oven to 160c degrees and grease the pan.<\/li>\n<li>In a large bowl, whisk eggs, cream, vanilla and sugar into a smooth mixture.<\/li>\n<li>Sift in flour, baking powder and salt and beat just until incorporated.<\/li>\n<li>Pour about 2\/3 of the batter into the pan.<\/li>\n<li>To the remaining third of the batter add cinnamon and stir.<\/li>\n<li>Pour the cinnamon into the pan and stir with a knife creating marble shape.<\/li>\n<li>Bake for about 25-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the cake comes out with moist crumbs.<\/li>\n<li>Cool completely, garnish with powdered sugar and serve.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4 dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Notes:<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul dir=\"ltr\">\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Keep the cake in an airtight container for up to 5 days.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">You can freeze the cake for 2 weeks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/span>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This cinnamon marble cake is soft and so easy to make it only takes about 10 minutes to make and then off to the oven!
