They are super easy to make, buttery and melt-in-your-mouth, and once you try even one &#8211; you can&#8217;t stop until the whole jar is empty!<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_16820\" style=\"width: 810px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-16820\" class=\"wp-image-16820\" title=\"Almond Crescent Cookies\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lilcookie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/almond_butter_melting_moments.jpg\" alt=\"Almond Crescent Cookies\" width=\"800\" height=\"533\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-16820\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: Natalie Levin<\/p><\/div>\n<p><script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block;\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-6091382327871787\" data-ad-slot=\"7832461759\" data-ad-format=\"auto\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><\/p>\n<h4 dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Almond Crescent Cookies <\/strong><\/h4>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">60-70 small cookies<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Ingredients:<\/span><br \/>\n200 grams soft butter<br \/>\nPinch of salt<br \/>\n100 grams powdered sugar<br \/>\n1 tsp. vanilla extract<br \/>\nzest of 1\/2 lemon<br \/>\n2 tbsp. milk<br \/>\n200 grams almond meal<br \/>\n210 grams all-purpose flour<br \/>\n40 grams cornstarch<br \/>\n1 tsp. baking powder<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Sugar powder for serving<\/p>\n<h4 dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Preparation<\/strong><strong>:<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ol dir=\"ltr\">\n<li>Preheat oven to 165c degrees.<\/li>\n<li>In a bowl of a mixer with a paddle attachment, put butter, salt, powdered sugar, vanilla, lemon zest and milk and whip until very airy and creamy.<\/li>\n<li>Clean the sides of the mixer with a spatula and add almond meal, flour, cornstarch and baking powder.<\/li>\n<li>Blend at low speed until the large clumps of dough form.<\/li>\n<li>Transfer the dough on a lightly floured work surface.<\/li>\n<li>Form small balls of dough and shape each into a crescent.<\/li>\n<li>Place on an oven pan lined with baking paper.<\/li>\n<li>Bake for about 12-15 minutes or until golden but still bright.<\/li>\n<li>Cool completely, garnish with powdered sugar and serve.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4 dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Notes:<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul dir=\"ltr\">\n<li>You can use any kind of nut you like instead of almonds.<\/li>\n<li>It is important to use a very soft butter.<\/li>\n<li>Keep the cookies in a sealed jar for up to a week.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/span>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>These almond crescent cookies are probably the most addictive and dangerous cookies there are.
