Whenever I have few apples in the kitchen i get right to work and make apple crumble. It&#8217;s such a great dessert &#8211; especially when you serve it warm with a side of vanilla ice cream.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">This apple crumble combines also pears and is also vegan. It contains no eggs and is dairy free, but the result is simply rich and delicious you won&#8217;t be able to resist.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_13996\" style=\"width: 810px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-13996\" class=\"wp-image-13996\" title=\"Vegan Pear and Apple Crumble\" src=\"http:\/\/oogio.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/IMG_7403.jpg\" alt=\"Vegan Pear and Apple Crumble\" width=\"800\" height=\"533\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-13996\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: Benny Gam Zo Letova<\/p><\/div>\n<p><script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block;\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-6091382327871787\" data-ad-slot=\"7832461759\" data-ad-format=\"auto\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><\/p>\n<p><!--WPRM Recipe 20907--><\/p>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe\">\n<h2 class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-name\">Vegan Pear and Apple Crumble<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-summary\">\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-equipment\">\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-ingredients\">\n<h4>For the fruit:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>3 apples<\/li>\n<li>3 pears<\/li>\n<li>3 tbsp. light brown sugar<\/li>\n<li>juice and zest of 1\/2 lemon or orange<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 tsp. vanilla extract<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>For the crumble:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>210 grams (1 1\/2 cups) all-purpose flour<\/li>\n<li>100 grams (1 cup) chopped almonds<\/li>\n<li>50 grams (1\/4 cup) light brown sugar<\/li>\n<li>75 ml. (1\/3 cup) vegetable oil<\/li>\n<li>juice and zest of 1\/2 lemon or orange<\/li>\n<li>Icing sugar for decoration<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-instructions\">\n<ol>\n<li>Preheat oven to 175c degrees.<\/li>\n<li>Peel and core the apples and pears.<\/li>\n<li>Cut the fruit into medium sized cubes (approximately 2*2 cm) and put in a bowl.<\/li>\n<li>Add brown sugar, juice, orange zest and vanilla and mix well until all fruit is coated with sugar.<\/li>\n<li>Transfer into the pan and spread evenly.<\/li>\n<li>In a medium bowl, mix flour, chopped almonds and sugar.<\/li>\n<li>Add oil, orange juice and zest and stir gently with a fork just until the mixture is crumbly.<\/li>\n<li>Sprinkle the crumbs over the fruit evenly.<\/li>\n<li>Bake the crumble for about 35-45 minutes-or until crumbs are golden brown and the fruit begin to ooze fluid and bubble.<\/li>\n<li>Sprinkle icing sugar and serve hot.<\/li>\n<\/ol><\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-notes\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\">You can bake the apple crumble in individual molds. Baking time will be shorter.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\">Serve the apple crumble fresh from the oven.
