This walnut bread is very easy to make, and rich with poppy seeds and chopped walnuts. Perfect for sandwiches, breakfast and dinner.<\/p>\n<p><script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block;\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-6091382327871787\" data-ad-slot=\"7832461759\" data-ad-format=\"auto\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><\/p>\n<h4 dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Poppy Seeds Walnut Bread <\/strong><\/h4>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">2 large loaves<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Ingredients:<\/span><br \/>\n80 grams freshly ground poppy seeds<br \/>\n320 grams whole wheat flour<br \/>\n350 grams all-purpose flour<br \/>\n500 ml. lukewarm water<br \/>\n15 grams active dry yeast<br \/>\n1 tbsp. maple syrup<br \/>\n2 tbsp. olive oil<br \/>\n25 grams fine salt<br \/>\n100 grams chopped walnuts<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Flour for dusting<\/p>\n<h4 dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Preparation<\/strong><strong>:<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ol dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>In a bowl of a mixer with a dough-hook put poppy seeds, whole wheat flour, all-purpose flour, water, yeast, maple syrup, olive oil and salt and knead for about 12-15 minutes until the dough is smooth and slightly sticky. If during kneading the dough seems a little too dry, you can add 2-3 tablespoons of water. Towards the end of kneading add chopped nuts.<\/li>\n<li>Transfer the dough to a floured surface; knead for another 2-3 minutes and form a ball shape.<\/li>\n<li>Put the dough in a lightly floured large bowl, cover and let rise for about 1-2 hours until the dough doubles in volume.<\/li>\n<li>Transfer the dough onto a lightly floured surface, and divide into 2 equal parts.<\/li>\n<li>Form each part into a loaf shape.<\/li>\n<li>Place the loaves on a baking tray lined with baking paper.<\/li>\n<li>Cover and let rise for about 1 hour until almost double the volume.<\/li>\n<li>Preheat oven to 250c degrees. If you have a baking stone, place it at the bottom of the oven.<\/li>\n<li>Create incisions on the top of the loaves using a very sharp knife and dust the top with some flour.<\/li>\n<li>Bake for about 12-15 minutes.
