(1\/2 cup) milk<br \/>\n1 tsp. vanilla extract<br \/>\nPinch of salt<br \/>\n2 large ripe bananas, mashed<br \/>\n280 grams (2 cup) all-purpose flour<br \/>\n2 tsp. baking powder<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">For almond cream:<\/span><br \/>\n50 grams soft butter<br \/>\n50 grams dark brown sugar<br \/>\n60 ml. (1\/4 cup) milk<br \/>\n75 grams almond meal<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">For streusel:<\/span><br \/>\n100 grams all-purpose flour<br \/>\n50 grams chopped almonds<br \/>\n75 grams butter cut into cubes<br \/>\n2 tbsp. light brown sugar<\/p>\n<h4 dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Preparation<\/strong><strong>:<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ol dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Preheat oven to 175c degrees and grease the pan.<\/li>\n<li>In a large bowl, whisk eggs, sugar, oil, milk, vanilla, salt and mashed bananas until blended.<\/li>\n<li>Sift in flour and baking powder and continue to mix only until blended.<\/li>\n<li>Pour the batter into the pans.<\/li>\n<li>Almond cream: in medium bowl, whisk butter, sugar and milk until mixture is smooth and creamy.<\/li>\n<li>Add almonds and mix with a spatula until you get a uniform and thick cream.<\/li>\n<li>Pour almond cream mounds on top of each cake.<\/li>\n<li>Streusel: In medium bowl mix flour, almonds, cold butter and sugar until crumbly. It is important not knead too much.<\/li>\n<li>Sprinkle the crumbs evenly over the cakes.<\/li>\n<li>Bake for about 30-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the bread comes out with moist crumbs.<\/li>\n<li>Cool completely and serve.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4 dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Notes:<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul dir=\"ltr\">\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">You can use any kind of nut you like instead of almonds.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Keep the banana bread in a sealed container in the refrigerator for 5-6 days, but it is recommended to serve at room temperature.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/span>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As someone who truly loves banana bread, this is the one thing I make regularly whenever I have a few ripe bananas on the kitchen counter.
