Perfect for hosting!<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_8911\" style=\"width: 810px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-8911\" class=\"wp-image-8911\" title=\"Chocolate Cream Cheesecake\" src=\"http:\/\/oogio.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/chocolate_cheesecake-s.jpg\" alt=\"Chocolate Cream Cheesecake\" width=\"800\" height=\"534\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-8911\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: Natalie Levin<\/p><\/div>\n<p><script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block;\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-6091382327871787\" data-ad-slot=\"7832461759\" data-ad-format=\"auto\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><\/p>\n<p><!--WPRM Recipe 21028--><\/p>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe\">\n<h2 class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-name\">Chocolate Cream Cheesecake<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-summary\">\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-equipment\">\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-ingredients\">\n<h4>For the crust:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>200 grams plain biscuits or graham cracker (see notes to a gluten free version)<\/li>\n<li>100 grams melted butter<\/li>\n<li>1 tbsp. cocoa powder<\/li>\n<li>2 tbsp. dark brown sugar<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>For the filling:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>500 grams white cheese 9% far (or sour cream)<\/li>\n<li>450 grams cream cheese<\/li>\n<li>200 grams sugar<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp. vanilla extract<\/li>\n<li>Pinch of salt<\/li>\n<li>5 large eggs at room temperature<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 cup flour or cornstarch<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>For chocolate frosting:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>125 grams dark chocolate (chopped)<\/li>\n<li>125 ml. heavy cream<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Decoration:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>dark chocolate chips<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-instructions\">\n<ol>\n<li>Preheat oven to 175c degrees.<\/li>\n<li>In a food processor with a steel blade grind biscuit into a fine powder.<\/li>\n<li>Add in the melted butter, cocoa and dark brown sugar and continue to blend briefly just until the mixture is crumbly.<\/li>\n<li>Transfer the crumbs into the pan and tighten it to the bottom to create a crust. Bake for about 10 minutes and cool at room temperature.<\/li>\n<li>Reduce the oven temperature to 160c degrees.<\/li>\n<li>In a large bowl, whisk white cheese, cream cheese, sugar, vanilla and salt into a smooth mixture.<\/li>\n<li>Add the eggs, one at a time, while whisking between additions.<\/li>\n<li>Add the flour or cornstarch and continue to whisk just until incorporated.<\/li>\n<li>Pour the cheese filling over the baked crust and bake for 60-80 minutes. The cake is ready when it will be golden and slightly quivering in its central part.<\/li>\n<li>Cool the cake completely at room temperature and transfer to cool overnight in the refrigerator.<\/li>\n<li>Chocolate frosting: place the chocolate in a bowl.<\/li>\n<li>Heat cream almost to a boil, pour over chopped chocolate, wait a minute, and beat until you get a uniform and shiny chocolate ganache.<\/li>\n<li>Pour the ganache over the cake and flatten gently.
