All combined create the most delicious coffee tart you&#8217;ll ever make, and if you&#8217;re a coffee addict like me &#8211; this tart will become your favorite &#8211; guaranteed.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_10464\" style=\"width: 810px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-10464\" class=\"wp-image-10464\" title=\"Coffee Tart with Pistachio and Chocolate\" src=\"http:\/\/oogio.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/coffee_chocolate_and_pistachio_tart-s.jpg\" alt=\"Coffee Tart with Pistachio and Chocolate\" width=\"800\" height=\"534\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-10464\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: Natalie Levin<\/p><\/div>\n<p><script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block;\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-6091382327871787\" data-ad-slot=\"7832461759\" data-ad-format=\"auto\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><\/p>\n<p><!--WPRM Recipe 20071--><\/p>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe\">\n<h2 class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-name\">Coffee Tart with Pistachio and Chocolate<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-summary\">\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-equipment\">\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-ingredients\">\n<h4>For coffee crust:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>150 grams all-purpose flour<\/li>\n<li>100 grams cold butter (cut into cubes)<\/li>\n<li>40 grams icing sugar<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp. instant coffee powder<\/li>\n<li>Pinch of salt<\/li>\n<li>1 egg<\/li>\n<li>1-2 tbsp. cold water (as needed)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>For pistachio cream:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>50 grams natural pistachios<\/li>\n<li>50 grams almonds<\/li>\n<li>1 tbsp. pistachio paste<\/li>\n<li>100 grams cold butter cut into cubes<\/li>\n<li>85 grams sugar<\/li>\n<li>Pinch of salt<\/li>\n<li>1 large egg<\/li>\n<li>2 tbsp. rum or brandy<\/li>\n<li>1 tbsp. all-purpose flour<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>For dark chocolate truffles domes:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>100 grams dark chocolate<\/li>\n<li>75 ml. heavy cream<\/li>\n<li>Pinch of salt<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>For coffee Chantille cream:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>125 ml. heavy cream<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp. instant coffe powder<\/li>\n<li>1 tbsp. sugar powder<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp. cream stabilizer or instant vanilla pudding mix<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Decoration:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Finely chopped pistachios<\/li>\n<li>Crunchy dark chocolate pearls<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-instructions\">\n<ol>\n<li>Crust: in a food processor with a steel blade put flour, butter, powdered sugar, coffee and salt and process until mixture is crumbly.<\/li>\n<li>Add egg and continue to process just until large clumps of dough form. If the dough is not setting, gradually add a little water.<\/li>\n<li>Transfer the dough chunks on a lightly floured work surface and form a disc-shape with your hands.<\/li>\n<li>Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for about an hour.<\/li>\n<li>Roll out the dough on a floured work surface about 3-4 mm thick and line the pie pan. It is important to create a right angle between the sides and the base of the crust, which will ensure the edges remain high when baking.<\/li>\n<li>Using a fork create holes in the crust. Freeze the crust for about an hour.<\/li>\n<li>Preheat oven to 170c degrees.<\/li>\n<li>Blind baking: put a sheet of heat-resistant plastic wrap or baking paper on the frozen crust and fill with dry beans or special weights for baking.<\/li>\n<li>Bake for about 12-14 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Remove the weights and the plastic wrap and continue to bake the crust for about 3-4 minutes or until it is lightly golden.<\/li>\n<li>Cool at room temperature.<\/li>\n<li>Pistachio cream: in a food processor with a steel blade put pistachios and almonds and grind until fine powder.<\/li>\n<li>Add pistachio paste, butter, sugar and salt and continue to blend until mixture is crumbly.<\/li>\n<li>Add egg, rum and flour and continue to blend until creamy, thick and smooth.<\/li>\n<li>Pour the cream over the crust and spread evenly.<\/li>\n<li>Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the cream is golden and set.<\/li>\n<li>Cool completely at room temperature.<\/li>\n<li>Dark chocolate truffles domes: chop the chocolate and put in a bowl. Add heavy cream and salt and solvents together in the microwave or over double-boiler, until everything is melted and mixture is smooth.<\/li>\n<li>Pour the mixture into a small (about 3-4cm in diameter) dome-shaped silicon mold and level the top.<\/li>\n<li>Freeze until completely frozen.<\/li>\n<li>Extract the frozen chocolate domes and arrange on top of the tart at intervals.<\/li>\n<li>Coffee Chantilly cream: in a bowl of a mixer whip cream, coffee, sugar powder and stabilizer until stable.<\/li>\n<li>Transfer the whipped cream into a piping bag with a serrated 1-2 cm piping tip and pipe mounds of cream in between the truffle domes.<\/li>\n<li>Decorate with chopped pistachios and crunchy chocolate pearls and serve.<\/li>\n<\/ol><\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-notes\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\">Keep the tart in a closed container in the refrigerator up to 3-4 days.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\">Instead of pistachios you can use any other nut you like.<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-meta\">\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><!--End WPRM Recipe--><\/p>\n<\/span>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Chocolate, roasted pistachios and coffee are such a great combination to my taste, and this coffee tart makes each flavor absolutely shine.
