(1\/2 cup) heavy cream<br \/>\n1 tsp. ground cinnamon<br \/>\n1 tbsp. sugar powder<br \/>\n1 tsp. cream stabilizer or instant vanilla pudding mix<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Decoration:<\/span><br \/>\nRoasted pecans, coarsely chopped<\/p>\n<h4 dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Preparation<\/strong><strong>:<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ol dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Pecan maple cupcakes: preheat oven to 170c degrees and line a muffin pan with parchment paper baking molds.<\/li>\n<li>In a large bowl, whisk eggs, sugar, maple, vanilla, salt, sour cream and oil until mixture is smooth.<\/li>\n<li>Add flour, ground pecans and baking powder and mix just until incorporated.<\/li>\n<li>Pour the mixture into the pan, and fill about 3\/4 height of each mold.<\/li>\n<li>Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the cakes are golden and a toothpick inserted at the center comes out with moist crumbs.<\/li>\n<li>Brush the cupcakes with maple syrup generously until absorbed.<\/li>\n<li>Cool completely before decoration.<\/li>\n<li>Cream cheese and cinnamon cream: in a bowl of a mixer, whip the cream cheese, heavy cream, cinnamon, powdered sugar and stabilizer until you get a uniform and stable cream.<\/li>\n<li>Transfer the cream into a piping bag fitted with jagged piping tip and drizzle mounds of cream on top of the cupcakes.<\/li>\n<li>Garnish with chopped pecans and serve.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4 dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Notes:<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Keep the cupcakes in a sealed box in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days.<\/li>\n<li>Instead of pecans you can use any other kind of nut you like.<\/li>\n<li>You can use honey or date syrup instead of maple.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div id=\"attachment_10475\" style=\"width: 810px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-10475\" class=\"wp-image-10475\" title=\"Pecan and Cinnamon Maple Cupcakes\" src=\"http:\/\/oogio.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/cinnamon_maple_pecan_cupcakes-s.jpg\" alt=\"Pecan and Cinnamon Maple Cupcakes\" width=\"800\" height=\"534\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-10475\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: Natalie Levin<\/p><\/div>\n<\/span>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>These pecan and cinnamon maple cupcakes are delicious, moist and so easy to make.
