Whenever I don&#8217;t have time and buy dinner rolls at the nearest bakery, I think to myself how these homemade rolls are much tastier and have better texture.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">If you like soft, fragrant and golden dinner rills with a melt-in-your-mouth texture &#8211; this is the recipe you need. (1 cup) water<\/li>\n<li>50 grams (1\/4 cup) sugar<\/li>\n<li>45 ml. (3 tbsp.) vegetable oil<\/li>\n<li>2 large egg yolks<\/li>\n<li>8 grams fine salt<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>For brushing and decoration:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>1 beaten egg<\/li>\n<li>Sesame or poppy seeds<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-instructions\">\n<ol>\n<li>In a bowl of a mixer with a dough hook, put flour, yeast, water, sugar, oil, egg yolks and salt and knead for 10-12 minutes until soft dough forms.<\/li>\n<li>Transfer the dough onto a lightly floured work surface and form a ball shape.<\/li>\n<li>Put the dough in a lightly greased bowl, cover and let rise at room temperature for about an hour or until it doubles in volume.<\/li>\n<li>Transfer the dough to a floured surface and divide into 12-15 pieces.<\/li>\n<li>Create a long roll from each part of the dough and then wrap it around itself, creating a knot.<\/li>\n<li>Place the rolls on a baking paper-lined oven tray.<\/li>\n<li>Cover and let rise for 35-45 minutes or until the rolls almost doubled their volume.<\/li>\n<li>Preheat oven to 170c degrees.<\/li>\n<li>Gently brush the rolls with beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds or poppy seeds.<\/li>\n<li>Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden.<\/li>\n<li>When the rolls are ready, cover them (in the pan) with a towel and allow to cool at room temperature.<\/li>\n<\/ol><\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-notes\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\">Serve the rolls on the day of preparation.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\">If you want to keep the rolls for longer time, freeze it in an airtight bag and slightly heat before serving.<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-meta\">\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><!--End WPRM Recipe--><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_11063\" style=\"width: 810px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-11063\" class=\"wp-image-11063\" title=\"Knot Sandwich Rolls \" src=\"http:\/\/oogio.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/knot_dinner_rolls2-a.jpg\" alt=\"Knot Sandwich Rolls \" width=\"800\" height=\"1200\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-11063\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: Natalie Levin<\/p><\/div>\n<\/span>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Making dinner rolls at home is so easy, so I always have a batch of these in the freezer.
