It&#8217;s easy to make, delicious and certainly a great treat along with your coffee cup in the morning. (1 cup) sour cream<\/li>\n<li>175 grams (1 1\/4 cups) all-purpose flour<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp. baking powder<\/li>\n<li>100 grams raspberry puree<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>For the glaze:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>2-3 heaping tablespoons powdered sugar<\/li>\n<li>1\/2-1 tsp. water<\/li>\n<li>Freeze fried raspberry<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-instructions\">\n<ol>\n<li>Preheat oven to 170c degrees and grease the pan well.<\/li>\n<li>In a bowl of an electric mixer with a paddle attachment, mix butter, sugar, vanilla and salt until mixture is creamy, airy and bright.<\/li>\n<li>Clean the sides of the mixer using a spatula and add the eggs one at a time, while mixing between additions.<\/li>\n<li>Add sour cream and continue to blend until it is assimilated into the mixture.<\/li>\n<li>Add flour and baking powder and mix until blended.<\/li>\n<li>Transfer about 1\/3 amount of batter into a separate bowl and add the raspberry puree into it. Stir until the mixture is smooth.<\/li>\n<li>Assembly: Pour half the plain batter into the pan level the top.<\/li>\n<li>Pour over the raspberry batter and then the remaining plain batter.<\/li>\n<li>Use a knife to create marble.<\/li>\n<li>Bake the cake for about 30-40 minutes, or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with moist crumbs.<\/li>\n<li>Cool completely at room temperature.<\/li>\n<li>Glaze: in a small bowl stir together powdered sugar and water to a thick frosting.<\/li>\n<li>Pour the mixture over the cake and let it drip a little on the sides.<\/li>\n<li>Garnish with dried raspberry and serve.<\/li>\n<\/ol><\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-notes\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\">Keep the cake in a closed container in the refrigerator for up to 5-6 days, but you should serve it at room temperature rather than cold.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\">Instead of dried raspberry you can decorate with cranberries.<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-fallback-recipe-meta\">\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><!--End WPRM Recipe--><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_11284\" style=\"width: 810px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-11284\" class=\"wp-image-11284\" title=\"Raspberry marble cake\" src=\"http:\/\/oogio.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/raspberry_marble_cake2-s.jpg\" alt=\"Raspberry marble cake\" width=\"800\" height=\"534\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-11284\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: Natalie Levin<\/p><\/div>\n<\/span>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This raspberry marble cake is one of my favorite recipes to prepare when friends arrive on short notice.
